Wow, what a delightful Anniversary dinner tonight. First visit for me, but my wife was here a few months ago with friends and suggested it. First, the appearance. If you've looked at the pictures on this Google Maps listing, you know it's attractive. The staff is friendly and attentive. Second, the food. It's very good. My wife had a cup of French onion soup, I had a bowl of Cajun shrimp gumbo. Whoah! Such a big bowl - I didn't expect it to be so big. It was good and I ate it all up like a good fellow. My wife had coconut shrimp, you almost can't go wrong with that and it was good. Here's a surprise: she enjoyed the mushrooms and spinach, and she Never likes restaurant spinach. It was either lightly steamed or briefly sauteed, however it was done, it had some proper firmness. Thanks! I had one of their five specials; a pork loin roulade with ham and sauerkraut and a mustard sauce and mashed sweet potatoes. Oh. My. God. What excellent seasoning. Whoever is cooking in the kitchen knows what they're doing. I wish I could cook that well. A good dinner. We'll be back.

I ate there with my boyfriend. And the service was terrible. Not only did our waiter have trouble taking no for an answer. He tried to take food away from me as I was still eating it. I have never not left a tip in my life but that was the exception. As if I couldn't get worse the food tasted blend. And made me not feel well at all.
