Moon's Mongolian Grill

The charming chef saved our dinner. I wanted to give 2 stars for slow service (people next to us just left as they were tired of waiting for drinks (not talking about food). If I had been hungry when I entered, I would have left, too. My spicy salmon roll was awful! Two pieces of cucumber and one piece of salmon. So was it a cucumber roll or a salmon one? Very disappointed! The chef was funny and definitely saved the dinner by making different tricks with food.

The start was a little rocky...we had reservations but there was a glitch...we were informed when we arrived if our entire party was more than 10 minutes late that they bump our reservation. They did not inform us at the time of the reservation...they didn't bump us and you had to wait to be seated until your entire party arrived plus couldn't order a drink. Once we were seated everything went smoothly!! Kyle, our chef, was amazing, fun, friendly and fantastic at his job! You could tell he lives what he dies and takes pride in it! Food and service were fantastic!!

I think this place has the best sushi around there. In order for sushi to be quality, the rice needs to be soft and room temperature to slightly warm. And the fish shouldn't be chewy. To this place has my vote. And the manager there is so cool. She's doing great. They also have a hibachi chef. For the dinner timeline

Food is good. Got there 30 minutes before closing for a quick lunch. Wasn't turned away but wish we had been. Service was slow and grumpy but obvious they wanted us to hurry up and leave. Had a $75 gift card that they refused because it was 2 years old. It was old because I live in Hayden and that location refused to accept a gift card from post falls. Pretty sure they are the same owners and staff. Sorry my friends gave it to me for Christmas 2019 before everyone shut down. Won't be back regardless of the quality of the food. Would like my $75.

We called over 40 times and no one answered the phone. My mom stopped by in person to make a reservation for my daughter’s birthday the following evening. The day of, my mom called to confirm and they didn’t even have our reservation. So she reminded Lila if their conversation abs was reassured we would have a table. As we were pulling into the parking lot 7 minutes before our reservation time, Lila called to say they canceled our reservation. Apparently she had written it down for half an hour earlier. They were so busy that were unable to get a table. Poor customer service outweighs any quality of food.

Had to walk in after 2 days of trying to get through on a phone that should at least have a message for when they are so busy. Stood at the counter and made reservation for 5 people for 6PM the next day for a birthday. When I called next day they had no record of the reservation at first, then seemed to find it. It's an hour drive in for us. We just pulled in to the parking lot st 5:53 and got a call canceling the reservation because we "were over 20 minutes late." How can we be 20 minutes late for a 6pm reservation when we arrive 7 minutes before 6? The food is great but we won't be going through this again.

Easily the worst service that I have ever had. Sushi chef made 20 to go orders while I sat for an hour waiting. It was 30 minutes before they took my order. There was three people in there. I walked in with a guy who knew the chef. His order was taken in a minute from entry. He was done with a sashimi salad before my order was taken. Rude. Evil service. I will never return! Had to give them one star to write a comment. One star too many!
