Amazing steak! The prices are on the higher side for us (just over $30 per person), but the "small" steak is about a pound, so you definitely get a good deal for the money. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare for us all). You also get two sides and some warm dinner rolls. The appetizer was so good! Normally we don't eat much fried food, but the Ribber sampler sounded too good to pass up. The corn fritters and pepper jack cheese bites were our favorites. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The pilsner beer I had was from Portsmouth Brewing Co., and it was really good. We went on a weekend around lunchtime. It was a little bit of a wait, but not too bad (maybe 10-15 minutes). Definitely plan to go back again!

This is the BEST steak place around! I’ve ate at a plethora of other steak houses and they just don’t compare! They also have other food as week, if you’re not feeling a steak. I’ve tried their Reuben and ham and cheese. I’m sold that whatever you order here is going to be good. I’d highly recommend this place.

This was my second trip here- my first being about 10 years ago. The first was disappointing enough that it took 10 years for me to try again. My main complaint this trip is the waiting to be seated area. The host stand is outside in the cold. It says “Please Wait to be Seated” next to multiple signs saying, “Not a waiting area. Do not congregate.” This caused us some confusion. Walked in and were escorted back out to wait in the cold when inside waiting benches are available. The food, on the other hand, was lovely. All of our fried foods were perfect! My hubby’s steak was huge and cooked well! It tickled me pink that the menu said they aren’t responsible for steaks ordered over medium. 😜 Would def visit again!

It was our 45th Anniversary, and a 45 minute wait, but worth every minute of it! The food there is always delicious, and they never disappoint! I think this will be "Our Place" for our future Anniversaries and all the other celebrations in between!❤❤❤❤ I did buy a shirt as an Anniversary souvenir! Love it all so much, and the employees were so friendly and helpful in spite of how busy they were Thank you Scioto Ribber for a fantastic evening!

There were nine of us in town for a convention and we stopped here for dinner. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. The steaks are smoked in a smoker it really gives it a unique and special flavor. To all in the Portsmouth Ohio area it's worth the time to stop and get a bite to eat.
