I love the wings here. They are delicious! I also had a burger and my boyfriend got some food as well. The pictures are from when we did takeout but we’ve been there multiple times before. Always good food that you can count on when craving junk items.

Outside of a mediocre beer selection, Mojo's is a terrific BBQ joint with crisp, juicy wings, great burgers and terrific BBQ. Even the vegetarian options are good. I live two blocks away so I go regularly and it never disappoints.
Favorites: The BBQ Chicken flatbread when they have it, buffalo or BBQ wings and their chili.

We stopped in after trying to catch the Colts game at three other places in southern ME/NH. Everywhere else was too busy to seat us, but these guys, for some reason, had some space available. We were able to enjoy some delicious wings, beers, and lunch. The bacon on the burger tasted like I make it at home. Great experience overall.

Very bad service. Tea was aweful. We ended up just paying for the drinks and walked out. Waited 45min n only had the drinks. Didn't even drink them bc the tea was aweful. Couldn't believe they even charged for them

Food was great. Drinks were great. Prices not great! For 2 people who got sandwiches and one drink each, it was $60+. Each drink even on special that evening $12. Burger $15. Pulled pork Sammy was $13.

This was a far cry from BBQ in my opinion. The ribs tasted like they were oven baked and then tossed on a grill with sauce. The brisket was severely overcooked and lacking flavor alone without sauce. The sides were good and the sauce was tasty with a decent beer lineup and good service though.

We ordered A BBQ buffet of Pulled Pork, BBQ Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and cornbread for a birthday party and it was Excellent! Great tasting food..everyone piled up their plates and went back for seconds. Thank you to Carrie who coordinated the order and delivery! Highly recommend.

Sports bar looked cool and is probably a good place to catch a game. I picked up take out brisket today for
Lunch and it was horrible. Was tough over cooked chewy and really had no flavor. By far worst bbq I have ever eaten.

Yum! A sports bar? Yes, you can see every game that’s on. But you can also have an AMAZING meal with great drinks and excellent service and bring your vegetarian friends. So glad we have found this place. Wonderful, family friendly environment as well!

I recently had my birthday party at Mojo's!
They were amazing, I honestly didn't have to worry about a thing. I told them what I wanted, I told them that I expected about 50-60 people and honestly..... They did the rest!
Aaron and Carrie not only took care of the proper amount of food but they were hands on throughout the evening to make sure that we were perfectly accommodated and well taken care of. They helped to make my 40th the best party ever!!!! I honestly would recommend MoJo's and the staff to anyone planning a party. My friends and family had a blast!! Thank you so much!!

Great friendly staff. Always plenty of free parking, Ice cold beer. Me and my girl friend have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed ourselves. Only a couple of times the BBQ ribs and Brisket were not up to par, just a slight inconsistency in flavor.

Not good. We have been going to mojo's for some time but tonight will be the last.we loved the st louis ribs with the smoke ring under the bark cut seperate.this time they came out like baby back all one slab covered with barbecue sauce and you know they haven't been smoked as no smoke flavor.if your looking for true barbecue this is not the place to go.this is false advertisement .st louie ribs are what they say no baby backs can come close.

I went to this place and had the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Not only did they refuse to take our legitimate coupon (which we purchased), the "owner," Kerry stated that they make $1.2 million annually, and do not need our service. Aaron Jones is the actual owner of this facility. Therefore she also lied to her customers. She was very rude, and refused to allow us to speak with the real owner. We waited over an hour for our meal (1 hour and 8 minutes to be exact.) she sternly insisted that we only waited twenty minutes, and that our money was worthless to this restaurant. We are regular attendants to this restaurant, and go there twenty times annually. I have never experienced such rude service. I vow to never return to this restaurant.

Visited While Honeymooning. Have to thank Urban Spoon for finding us this gem hidden away in a strip mall on the outskirts of the city. Downtown has a lot of great restaurants, but we love finding good barbecue and this ranked up with some of the best we've had anywhere. The ribs had an awesome smokey flavor, and the Arkansawce was the perfect complement. Great atmosphere too. Definately going back on our next New England trip.

Baked Ribs. I don't get the whole "bone falls out of the meat" thing. These are not smoked ribs. They are slow baked ribs. If you tried to cut up the rack of ribs, the bones would not stay in one place. I guess it's a New England thing. The place is great, the bar is excellent, the service was good, the sauce was a bit too sweet and sticky. Note: The new location on Brewery Lane is hard to find because the trees that line the street cover the sign. The main entrance is in the back parking lot.

Best BBQ in the area, hands down. I've eaten barbeque in a lot of states but refuse to take part in the "texas vesus st louis versus memphis versus kansas cite versus etc." debate. To me it's all just really really good food. Barbeque from the pits of someone who knows what they're doing - like Big Mo - is an experience to remember, regardless of the specific technique. Wet OR dry, tomato OR no tomato, vinegar OR molasses.... whatever your religion, it's all an art. <br/><br/>Mojo's is the best choice for BBQ in this area, hands down.

Area Best!!!!!. If you are in the Portsmouth area and seeking BBQ then this is the place to go.<br/><br/>Excellent quality food, great portions and decent prices. Mojo's offers a "full line" of BBQ foods, brisket, pulled pork, chicken (BBQ & Fried), smoked sausage...plus a whole list of great sandwiches....go for the Sloppy Moe.<br/><br/>Even the side dishes here are done right. Mojo's does it all in their own kitchen, the rubs and sauce are their own and are nothing short of fantastic.....<br/><br/>You can eve take home some of Big Moe's Arkansawce <br/><br/>Small dining area, but worth any wait and they have delivery and offer catering.

Went to Mojo's last week for lunch. Prices were reasonable and the food was good. The beef brisket was a bit salty but still very good. If you're in Portsmouth and want bbq then mojo's is a good choice
