So so SO good. Brisket was top notch. Service was perfect. You pick a table, order food and sit and get it delivered. Dranks were separate. Beer list was great. Everything we got was delicious. Mac n cheese! Oh yum! Did I mention how fantastic the brisket was?! My husband and I are from Rhode Island and we came up to Maine for a mini-cation. We had many recommendations for this place and went on our first night and haven’t stopped talking about how good was since we left. My hubby is such a BBQ snob that we end up at Smokey Bones more often for a rack of ribs just because of the consistency. We try new BBQ in the RI area as much as possible and are often disappointed. This place was incredible. Get the brisket. Seriously. And the Mac n cheese. And the corn muffin. The cole slaw is delicious too! Just go and get anything, I’m sure it’ll be delicious!!!!

Killer food and a great beer selection. Love the ribs and Mac-N-Cheese. Did I say great beer selection? The community tables are fun. You can reach over and grab a few ribs off someone’s plate you don’t even know.

Salvage is one of my favorite places in Portland. Great service and super bartenders doling out tons of local beers and delicious mixed drinks. Fantastic brisket and pulled pork. They also make amazing mac and cheese. On Fridays and Saturdays they have free music, usually rockabilly, honky tonk, or country.

The pork was amazing. The brisket was overcooked though. Loved the greens, beans and large variety of hot sauces. You can tell they're trying really hard. It's s fun place with a large bar and great staff.

Salvage is my favorite BBQ joint in Southern Maine. The Brisket and Collard Greens are top notch, I enjoy the order and pay method making it a great option on a night out before or after a game. Simply picnic table seating, large bar and an Andrea to lounge makes Salvage inviting weather your looking for a full meal, quick bit or night out.

It's good. Not great. They do a nice job with their take-out. Regarding any other barbecue here in Maine, it's the best around. They do not have much competition. For us, it was one and done.

Stopped in to make a to go order for my Dad's 78th birthday. He wanted ribs and this was a no brainer. I wish I had take a picture of the food but to be honest, we were so intent it slipped my mind. That's a great sign btw. 👌 They sell out fast so get there early and don't miss out!

We enjoyed Pig Pile. Pulled pork was tender & juicy. Spare ribs were big & delicious. Loved Sunday night bingo.

Stopped in here on a road trip up to Acadia this past summer. This place got me into BBQ. Best brisket I’ve had outside of places in Austin and Texas in general. I’d say best BBQ in the Northeast. Was so good I got a pound of brisket to use for sandwiches when camping. Had to stop by on my way back down too.
