One of a kind menu, beautifully designed space that builds a sense of community among dinners, and beyond full bar. Despite just opening, service was friendly and attentive. The best part was that dish after dish was not only beautiful, but bursting with flavor combinations that can't be found anywhere else in Portland! If you want to try completely unique food expertly executed then the Honey paw is a must try.

There's so much I can say, but just close your eyes and point and you'll find an incredible dish. Simple, but well executed cocktail menu, great beer and wine list... It just goes on. Well feckin' done.

I will never understand why people wait in line next door at Eventide when the flavor is happening at Honey Paw. They both have fresh, fabulous ingredients but Eventide can be duplicated at any number of high end Maine restaurants. Honey Paw is one of a kind... don't miss it!

The food was amazing. The chicken wings were simply the best. You must try the lobster toast it was delicious. Don't overlook any of their noodle dishes. The noodles are made in the kitchen, and compliment every broth. I am a self taught chef, hosted a food show on TV, I was truly impressed.

This is probably our favorite restaurant in Portland. The food is always consistently good. We went there for brunch yesterday. Many VERY reasonably priced fun new menu additions. A bargain really. Hard to say which was our favorite but the cheddar bisquit sandwich is high on the list. We love the staff too. They are always friendly and accommodating. No matter how busy they are they try to get you in and make you feel welcome.

Unique menu and outstanding food. We had an amazing experience, the layout is perfect, our server was wonderful and knowledgeable. The bartender made me "the perfect" cocktail off the menu.

The food is quite possibly the best I've had anywhere in a long time. The masa crepe, the lamb khao soi. Ugh, I am always thinking about this food!

Fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. Great food really tasty. I would definitely recommend getting the wings and any of the noodle dishes. Salads are also really good. Very affordable and fairly priced. Service was excellent and our waiter was very helpful

We had to wait about 30 minutes because we didn't have a reservation. They have a text system which allowed us to go get a drink and then come back once seats were available. We ate at the bar. I got the rose on tap which was dry, not sweet. I started with the kale salad and had their tamarind mussels and khao soil. All the food was delicious. I appreciate the quality service. Even though the restaurant was closing, there was no rush to get us out of the place. It was a very enjoyable meal.

A fun take on southeast Asian cuisine! Our favorite dishes were the noodle plates, but we also really enjoyed the bass. Overall this is a unique experience for those who like trying new things while visiting Portland.

Everything we had was really good. Had a Portland local IPA from the Goodfire brewing co. That I wish is available back home. The ramen is very unique and chicken wings and mussels were finger licking good too.

We were walking to have dinner at another restaurant on Memorial Day, saw the full house at Honey Paw, went in to check the menu out, and decided on the spot to change our plans and grab dinner there instead (they're closed Tuesday-Thursday and we were leaving Portland on Friday). It turned out to be a great decision, and this restaurant should be on the list of anyone visiting town. For starters we shared the halibut crudo, which as you'd expect from a seaport town was amazingly fresh. The sauce had plenty of bite thanks to the Szechuan oil, but also had more complex flavors with the cilantro and turmeric. It was a light and refreshing way to start the meal, and paired well with the sake we had (my partner got the nigori sake cocktail, I got a bottle of the Ozeki Dry sake). Next were the mains, and we were blown away at how intense and flavorful the dishes were. I got the local kelp torchio, which was a phenomenal fusion dish combining Italian pasta with Asian seasoning. The pasta was al dente, and the seasoning was very complex with the parmesan dashi, Szechuan peppercorn, kelp butter, soy hijiki and cured egg yolk. My partner got the khao soi, which she loved (and she has a very high bar for Thai food after spending a lot of time in Bangkok). The coconut curry broth was again intensely flavorful, and the smoked lamb was very tender and offered a different twist to the typical preparation. We drained this bowl down to the bottom. I think we could've walked away at this point feeling great about the meal, but we're suckers for soft serve ice cream and thought we'd give it a try here. We got the sweet cream soft serve topped by cookie crisps and coffee toffee, and if that's not one of the best soft serves we've ever had - think an Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's that's 100x higher quality and you get the idea.

Really good food. Our first stop once we landed. A group of 11 of us had about everything on the menu and everything I tasted was on point. I got the strong paw as my drink and it was great. The lobster toast was an amazing bite of food. The tempura had a wonderful taste. The beet salad was first of it's kind that I have had and it did not disappoint. All in all a great stop and welcome to Portland.

Was lucky to be seated without any wait on Sunday afternoon. The food is delicious. The Mapo Dofu was perfectly seasoned and extremely flavourful with just the right amount of spicy (for Sichuan inspired dish). The cocktail menu was innovative as well. Totally worth the type ;-)
