Now this is what you call a breakfast experience! Great location and atmosphere. Nice group of people there. The staff was kind and welcoming. Waitress was attentive and the food was brought out fast and hot and presented well and best of all delicious!
I don’t like grits but they made delicious shrimp and grits! Trust me try it! The flavors are perfect and it did not feel like I was eating grits just a delicious dish with shrimp, bacon, mushrooms and so much more! We also ordered the French toast x2 orders because we ate the first 2 so fast!! And we also ordered the scrambalaya with hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly and we left full! We can’t wait to return again! Keep up the great work Hot Suppa!

Must amazing breakfast/brunch ever! We live in NY &b look forward to coming here every time. Everything is delicious & fresh. Totally obsessed with the mushroom scramble and all the Benedicts are amazing! The biscuits and sausage gravy our stuffed dreams are made of.

We loved a southern style brunch! The hollandaise on my Eggs Benedict was so good, I had a taste of the Shrimp and Grits, so tasty too. We sat in the outdoor patio and it really felt like an extension of the restaurant. Thanks to our sweet server, Sarah - she made a busy Saturday look like a breeze.

From Eggs Benedict with BBQ pulled pork, scallions, & buttered grits to Bacon Cheeseburgers with Pepper jack cheese and caramelized onions; Hot Suppa got it all.
This is one of my absolute favorite spots to grab breakfast in Portland. Everything is always fresh, the staff is always friendly, the vibe is warm, and the prices are correct.
Highly recommended.

10/10 recommend! Came in for brunch and ordered the mother clucker. Wicked good fried chicken. Biscuits and gravy were top notch. So much food and reasonable prices. We went on a Wednesday and waited 25min but I hear it gets even busier…Worth the wait for sure.

So we lucked out on a Friday morning with a spot right in front! We were told 20 minutes but it was less than 10 minutes for 4 of us. I ordered the corn beef hash and it was soo good! I also ordered an iced coffee with vanilla and again it was really good! It only needed cream. Two others in our party ordered the chicken and waffles and were really disappointed though that’s why I give 4 stars. The menu says chicken breast but it’s definitely thigh; dark meat with hard fat maybe overcooked a little cause it was tough. One of them loves dark meat and was still disappointed and didn’t eat much of it. Service was great and it’s a cute place! I guess just don’t order the chin and waffles?

Fantastic brunch spot. I wish I lived nearby and could go here every weekend! They don't take reservations, but have a waiting list system, if you aren't there or your whole party isn't there when your name is called, they take next party on the list. They have a small enclosed outdoor seating behind the main restaurant.
Server was helpful w/ suggestions, and food came out quick. Fried green tomato Benedict and the mother Clucker were so so good.

Nice ambiance. Eggs were a little watery. French toast good and filling when I added another slice. Small inside but not busy

Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. Special was Cornmeal Crusted Catfish with shrimp & andouille sausage jambalaya, baby kale, and tomato creole sauce. I could have licked my plate!!! Others got specials and menu items, equally impressed. Had most of the appetizers, all worth wanting more. If you miss this place, you lose. Period.

Hot Suppa is the best brunch place in town, hands down! I usually go for the fried green tomatoes benedict, which I crave on the regular but this most recent visit they had a local mushroom benedict on the menu and I was like, "ok, I'll try it." WHOA!!! This meal was exquisite. The mushrooms blended with spinach in a creamy, buttery delicious sauce which pleased every one of my taste buds. The way the cream sauce oozed into the perfectly toasted english muffin was so good I literally moaned with delight. I sat at the bar and my immediate neighbor was like, "excuse me, what is that you are eating?" When I told him he ordered the last one available immediately. SOOOO amazing! Thank you, Hot Suppa for consistently satisfying me with every bite of every dish for many years now!!!

This place is awesomely great ... I love the corn beef breakfast and friendly staff. There is always a wait to be seated, but in the end it is always worth it. I wish there was more great places like this!

Like any good southern lady I thought nobody could top my momma’s grits. I was proven wrong this morning. This place is breakfast perfection. I highly recommend the biscuit and gravy, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Brunch was amazing, specials were to die for, and the service was prompt and well orchestrated in spite of the busy scene on a Sunday. Absolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone.

Before heading to One Longfellow Square we had an early suppah. It was a beautiful summer evening and we enjoyed the privacy of the lovely back patio. Refreshing cocktails and appetizers were followed by a delicious meal. Gluten free for Dave and chicken and waffles for me. Delicious all around.

Portland goes 2 for 2 in terms of breakfast.
It came as no shock to me that combining poached eggs, Hollandaise, sloppyjoes, incredible buttermilk biscuits, and hash browns was delicious. I’m just not sure why this isn’t available EVERYWHERE... Until that’s the case, Hot Suppa has the market cornered, I suppose. This is a definite must-visit for at least breakfast / brunch the next time I’m in Portland. Though I’m tempted to hit them up for more than one meal.

Orgasm in my mouth! Everything is flavorful and well balanaced. From the Cajun Bloody Mary to their chicken breast. I'm making it a point to go every time I'm in Portland. Definitely AMAZING!

Another great meal! Managed to arrive on the night they were celebrating their 12th anniversary and once again really enjoyed it. Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and very tender and flavorful on the inside. A Fried Fish Po' Boy was delicious and filling. The sides of grits and collard greens were fantastic, and we finished the night by splitting a serving of Sweet Potato Pie. Amazing!

Awesome spicy Bloodys, delicious Mimosas, and one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had... pulled pork with egg on sourdough

When visiting Portland we make it a point to have breakfast at Hot Supra. The coffee is wonderful, and whatever the choice the food is delicious! You'll enjoy the clean cut funkiness of this always enjoyed restaurant.
