Our family LOVES everything about Mox Boarding House! Every person on their staff is friendly, fun and super helpful in picking games that fit your preferences or needs. The games are super well organized based style (family, party, modern, European, card, etc) which I found to be inviting and not overwhelming. Their game lending library also allows you to test a game and if you enjoy how it plays if you're unsure. We've become repeat customers (when dine- in option was open) to go spend a few hours playing & eating as a fun evening as a family, with neighbors (socially distanced play), and with our kids meeting a friend for in person socially distanced connect time. TIP: you can get 10% off any game purchase when you Eat & Play. You can also purchase Magic: the Gathering cards here too. Be sure to check out their blog on the website for current savings and valuable info! We appreciate Mox and enjoy sharing this incredible place that offers a huge selection of games, a game library, and a full restaurant! Oh, and also be sure to check out their cool bathroom and look for unique in house art below the cashier and along the hallway to the restroom!!! Happy gaming :)
I can't wait for the end of COVID to take advantage of the restaurant. For now the game store has a great selection, fair prices, and friendly staff.

This place is awesome! They have all the games you’d want to play here. A great place to hang with friends and enjoy some food as well or just to find a game to take home!
At Mox's -- parking is often difficult. When you go inside, you can go to the counter and borrow games that you can then bring to a table. When we went there was a tournament going on so the only place to sit was in the restaurant. We were told by 2 employees that it was ok to sit in there and play. We felt weird not ordering anything so the 7 of us all ordered drinks (non-alcoholic) which were very good -- try the Italian sodas = there are a lot of flavors all delicious. Even though we had been told that we didn't have to order food we were feeling like the waitress probably wasn't pleased so then we order some appetizers to share. They were VERY small for the price -- guessing that they make up for what people are not spending. (vs a regular restaurant) The concept is that you hang out, play some games and maybe eat apps or a meal. The main lobby area is also a game store ---- many games that we recognized but even more that we had never heard of before.
An incredible experience!
We visited Mox's Boarding house with our 4 & 7 year old daughters and had a blast. The food was delicious and the server was kind, attentive, and encouraging. The staff in the game room were so helpful choosing games that the whole family could play. They have a diverse selection of games that you can play, with a robust kids section. Can't wait to come back, and would highly recommend for families.
Customer service is excellent and mtg cards are always in great quality. Always able to ask questions without hesitation and receive quick helpful answers reliably.
Beautiful cafe attached to a game shop. All the food I've had there was really great. It's set up so you can play games you purchase in the cafe. Really unique place, I hope they survive COVID.
This is a great place to try a game before or after you buy it. The food and service were fantastic. I definitely recommend trying the restaraunt out inside the store! We had a great night. Thanks for all of your help!
