I am very happy to know this place for my first meal in Portland. I enjoy iced coffee and foods. Staffs are nice and kind. I will definitely recommend for people to visit ! Thanks !

I love this place. It's an all-in-one coffee/tea house, healthy food-to-order deli, and grocery store with local, organic food selections. They have Lionheart Kombucha on tap (yum!), a great selection of teas, and they serve Trailhead coffee (a local, sustainably-minded roaster that delivers by bike).
They have a robust menu with smoothies, and really healthy foods, all made from scratch and served with gluten-free chips and pickles from Moon Brine. Lots of gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options.
The retail food prices are unfortunately pretty high, but they are mostly sourced locally and organic or all natural. The meats, eggs, milk, cheeses and produce are all local, and they have a great bulk foods section. You can also sip on a beer while you're waiting, now, too.
For the most part, I've received excellent customer service, and there are definitely a couple rockstars working there. However, I've read a couple others' reviews about the service being a bit fickle, and would agree it does seem like, depending on who's working, you can wait for awhile without really being acknowledged.
They also have morning storytime and puppet shows for kids during the week, which I think is very endearing. I love this place, it's my go-to coffee/healthy snack place. I haven't joined the co-op membership yet, but it's fairly priced, especially since it's a lifetime fee and can be made in payments. I will be joining as soon as possible.

This is an awesome little market! I was surprised by the extend of items they have. It's as if you condensed a whole market into the essentials. Their cafe is great and has selections of coffee and espresso drinks and a lunch / snack menu.
Got fresh organic produce and a members online farmers market available on their site with extensive selections.

i’ve been here a few times over the last year and the customer service is pretty good. it’s also in my childhood neighborhood so it’s interesting to see how the area has changed in the last twenty years. however, there’s not much to choose from at this market, the produce isn’t very fresh, and the sandwich i had was on very dry bread. employees are usually crowding the small shopping area. also, the first time i came in, i was harassed by an aggressive anti-masker who was upset at being (rightfully) denied service by staff and so he turned to me and asked “but you let this ‘thing’ in here and not me?!”
…i actually didn’t hear what he had said but the staff felt the need to reiterate the entire situation to me (repeating the rude comment) and assured me he wouldn’t be allowed back in. i think the employee was in shock and was just doing her job but i still felt bothered by it. if that were me behind the counter i would have felt terrible charging a customer for their $5 purchase after that scenario.

They have a great selection of organic and locally sourced goods. Bulk milk! The happiest meat!

Your delivery drivers need to be taught street etiquette. I almost wrecked trying to get through the residential side street because they were blocking almost the entire way. This is constant and makes me never want to shop here.

These people and their products are great! Local food , local folks who seem to care about both. Prices are a little high, but what else would I expect? Quality meats, cheese veggies, coffee? Yes please!

I love, love, love this place! I order all of my food here. I've been a member for years, and while on the surface it doesn't seem like you can get everything you need here, as a member you can order EVERYTHING. And everything is of amazing quality, mostly local, mostly organic and farm raised. My favorite meal is the ham and cheese scramble; so yummy! They also have bone broth, kombucha by the growler, and bulk foods.
