I ate your establishment on July 16, 2011 at 8:15pm. I was with my wife, 4year old son and a childhood friend. Every one enjoyed the experience. The waiter was a young tall thin gentleman. His name escapes us but his customer facilitation skills are 5 star. The bartender gets a 5 star rating for making great long island ice teas...
When I see a restaurant say it's the "Only floating restaurant in Portland" I wonder why it couldn't find anything better to say about itself. But I was completely wrong about this place. We were on the outside bar area with a wonderful view of the river. You'll need your sea legs, the platform really does move around at times and you may feel like you've had too many before you even start drinking. The food and beer selection was good as well as reasonably priced, especially compared to a few of the restaurants up the riverbank. What really impressed me was the service though, the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs.
I went there when I first visited Portland and had a very good time. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very quiet and personable.
Foods alright, but for the price you can find better.
