Aiko Ramen - Portland - Photo album

The Karaage was light and crispy, Tonkotsu Ramen with added shiitake mushrooms is rich with flavour from the bone broth and pork belly. Complimented by a Hapa Ice Tea. Perfect combination for a cool summer night.
Really good ramen! They were able to accommodate food allergies and leave out the butter they usually add to the miso ramen - it was delicious! Love the food hall in general, it's a cool space with lots of good options.
This is one of my favorite lunch spots. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Today's Poke special was amazing!!!
Very solid tonkatsu ramen, though a bit too salty, even for the style (ask for less salt & it'll be amazing.) While it's not my favorite in town, i like it better than 2 of their more popular ramen neighbors (i haven't tried the last out of the 4,yet.) they are certainly worth checking out if you're
Fantastic stuff. I had the Tonkotsu ramen and can't say enough good stuff about the pork; fatty, melty, fall-apart good, and plenty of it. Broth was excellent too, with a good depth of flavor and hearty body. Check it out, Aiko is certainly up there with the best bowls in town!
MIND BLOWING GOOD. I have no idea what the haters on here are talking about. I got the vegetarian Ramen, and they threw in an extra egg to replace the pork. I also added shitake mushrooms. Also, the noodles are very good. Slightly all dente but chewy. Like a good noodle should be. It was MIND BLOWIN
Having spent over three years in Tokyo, I can say without a doubt, AikoRamen compares with the best Japanese Ramen restaurants especially the mild low sodium tasting broth which is the bases of all high quality Ramen noodle dishes. Also the blending of Hawaiian treats (i.e. puu puu) as a ramen side
This ramen is basically a worse kookai (ramen in Beaverton) with less wait than the better version. I go to school at PSU and this place is very convenient, delicious and comparable in price to all other ramen. The reason to go is because it is quick and nice for living in downtown. I have been to
Solid tonkotsu ramen. The broth was very rich with nice slices of pork belly. I got the meal through MealPal so got it few dollars cheaper than the regular price. Will come again for ramen and poke bowls.
Mike Littman is a great guy. I recommend sitting at the bar and asking him some questions about Hapa. I work right around the corner and the service is always friendly and fast. Everything on the menu is tasty, but I really love the Shoyu ramen. A few of the 1 star reviews are from an old employe
Ordered the Shoyu Ramen. The meat was bomb but the ramen is just ramen. Small menu but pretty good flavours and a solid pick for hot soup on a cold day.
The curry ramen special was great!
Decent Ramen, but superior karaage. Should really do a karaage donburi as a menu option! Paired with their spicy sauce it’s a knockout.
The karaage is top knotch - some of the best I've had in the USA. The ramen is okay, but nothing special.
