Mandi House Restaurant - Portland - Photo album

Yemeni style, good Mandi but needed a little salt. Nice mixed appetizers, good naan, hummus wasn't perfect but good, waiter was very hospitable and kind...
Great kafta sandwich meal for under $10....cant beat it. Healthy, delicious, & fast!
Some of the best cheap eats in this part of town. The shawarma wrap, fries and drink combo is tough to beat. The fries are plentiful, crispy, and well seasoned. I don't know what it is, but I love that spice mixture! I usually come in the evenings, and there's never a wait. I think almost all of the
Amazing restaurant, wonderful people. My favorite place to eat in Portland!
Can't believe how great food is here. Only a matter of time before people find this hole in the wall. The chicken kebabs were moist and delicious...flavorful. the rice, which is usually dry in a lot of Middle East restaurants is dry, but theirs was not. I ate it all up.
I love Mandi House; it's the best Middle Eastern restaurant I've ever been to. The cost of the food is kind of pricey, but that's because the owner seeks quality meat that's prepared to Halal standards. The chicken plate and the kafta (beef kabobs, like in the picture) are my favorites, and the sala
I have had the Shawarma sandwiches many times and they are always generous and delicious. Today I tried the Mandi Lamb, their namesake Yemeni dish. It was excellent in flavor and included yogurt, facilitating eating the well-seasoned lamb and basmati with the hand. The house-made hot sauce was pe
Always friendly and the food is delicious! I'm obsessed with their french fries, but their hummus, falafel sandwich, and baba ghanoush are also fantastic. They don't like to run cards for small transactions because of the cost to their business from the CC company, so be sure to have cash if you are
Good spicy falafel. Good portion sizes. Great prices. Good hummus but only one pita bread. Will be going back next time we want some Mediterranean food.
I hope Nabil, the owner listed below, reads this. I recently visited Mandi house and felt called to post a review. I am giving them five stars not because I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant, but because I believe they have five star POTENTIAL. First, it would be great if the restau
This is one of Portland's best kept secrets. There falafel is maybe the best I've ever had, and if you order the mezza plate to stay it's probably the best value meal in town. I'm not playing. It's still amazing but slightly smaller to go. The chicken swarm is only barely less incredible than the fa
The mezza plate is my favorite item to get here. Everything is fantastic and if you are vegan or gluten free they can change the menu to accommodate. The market has really unique items such as chocolate covered dates stuffed with an almond.
This place has everything that a person can expect Tasty food, best quality , decent quantity & great customer service. I would recommend, try it once then you will know what I mean. My favourite dish is Mandi. I would definitely love to revisit soon. Thanks guys!!
Great food at a great price. I went on a Sunday and the wait time was long, but there were only 2 employees that day; they were very apologetic about it. The baba ganoush, gyro, shawarma, and Turkish coffee were really really good!!
