Chit Chat - Portland - Photo album

I loved this place!! I had a coffee smoothie. It was delicious!!! The place was a little hard to find at first so just look for the sign they have out on the sidewalk. Lots of easily accessible parking. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the neighborhood!!
After stuffing ourself at our Chinese New Year dinner our large group was looking for Bubble Tea! Chit Chat Cafe was only a few blocks away but worth the cold walk. I got the Original and was instantly transported to when I visited Taipei and drank it every day. My husband got Vanilla and my kids
The first genuine Taiwanese bubble tea was introduced to Oregon in 2007 at the Chit Chat cafe' (owned by a wonderful Taiwanese family), formerly located on Portland State U campus. They just recently moved (because of lack of students during Covid-19) to 3390 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97232, near
Fantastic food and a great bubble tea selection! Absolutely try the cong you bing (green onion pancake), it was mind blowing how good it and the dipping sauce it came with was. Everyone in my family couldn't stop raving about it after we finished it. The gua bao and spring rolls were also great,
This is honestly my go to boba place since I’ve come across it. The tea here is so good and I highly recommend the rose tea with lychee jelly !! It’s my favorite drink here. I have to say though the matcha milk tea is kinda powdery but overall this place is by far better than others places I’ve visi
The beef noodle soup, the chicken popcorn, the milk tea so delicious. I love it so much ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰
Food is so good! Got the salt and pepper chicken and the bao. Really flavorful and juicy. Portions are generous and milk tea is great. Great service as well.
Get the bao! The food is amazing. Really flavorful and not that expensive
I used to go here a few times a week when they were on the PSU campus. So glad to see that they re-opened at this new location. Great boba, really great food, and friendly service. The new location has a lot of fantastic outdoor seating.
Met a friend for boba and snacks. The person working answered questions promptly and accurately. The drinks are made w nondairy milk. My friend got the green onion pancake and they came out crispy and delicious.
Bubble tea is great, love the milk tea and smoothies! Also really enjoyed the food! We had gua bao and beef noodle soup which were both great and will definitely be going back to try more. Very friendly staff as well and cute outdoor seating :)
We had been missing Taiwan since moving here and this place felt so much like home. The flavors are exactly like you'd expect from a restaurant on any given street in Taiwan. The seating is wide open and comfortable. The tables are big and spaced out well for having a good conversation. Really nice
I love this place! The people who work there are always very nice and my favorite dish is the Orange Chicken, w/ Rice and Veggies. Probably my favorite spot in the area!! Highly recommend.
Delicious! Friendly staff, quiet environment. They serve east Asian food as well as breakfast foods. You can get bubble tea and coffee here. For wheelchair entrance, go through hot lips pizza, and you can go through a connecting door to Chit Chat, as Chit Chat has only stairs.
Lots of tables, great for studying. Free WiFi, but lack of power outlets. Coffee and teas (including bubble tea!) are excellent. Located in the middle of PSU for an easy pit stop between classes. Very friendly staff. My favorite place on campus! No gluten free options for food though :(
The salt and pepper chicken was very tasty but the bubble tea was undrinkable. There was so much matcha powder in it that it was bitter and grainy, and the Thai tea had a plastic aftertaste. I’d say go for the food but skip the boba.
