La Cocina De Chepe - Portland - Photo album

This was a referral from a friend. A place I had probably passed a hundred times. I'm so happy I tried it. I highly recommend eating here or getting it to go. The food is awesome! Best pupusa I've had in Portland.
The price goes up. I cannot find good pupusa in WA. I had to come to chepes when I visited Portland. Pupusa is bigger. I just ate one. It was good and tasted the same. Parking can be a challenge. There was beach volleyball next to patio.
a sleeper hit. the Jamaica is exceptional; probably the best I've had in Portland. on the sweet side of tart, and a decent, large size. had this beef dish whose name I can't remember but I'd recommend it multiple times over! they know what they're doing here. come see for yourself
Amazing food! The papusas were extremely good and had amazing flavor. My school went there and they served us each very efficiently and played music for us to dance to.
Absolutely delicious Salvadorian food! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. We ordered too much food! Plantains and beans, tacos, papayas, a pickled slaw. Fun ambiance!
The pupusas were incredible I had it with the fresh juice 😋🤤 I came in a group of 60 and they started playing music for us to dance to. They were very accommodating and the food was as good as the experience!
This is my favorite spot!! We dine in when we can and get a LOT of takeout from here. Best pupusas you can get, hands down. You can't beat the price, portions, or quality of food here.
The popusas were delicious. Amazing plantains. Its seemed a little too dark inside for my taste and none was out sanitizing. I cringed when I saw a man sit and wait for his food taking his mask off but all staff was in the kitchen so no one around to enforce the mask rules. Thankfully wrote were
Pupusas were VERY VERY good! Will go back for just the pupusas.
I just went here yesterday, however I've been there many times before and it never disappoints. I was there with my husband, teenage daughter & my toddler so it is kid friendly and has highchairs. I love their agua de piña con manzana and their chicarron con queso pupusas. I have also tried the revu
The food I've gotten has been good, though it's pretty inconsistent with what you get each time. I can order the same thing and each time have a different amount of food, sauces, seasonings, ECT. I would appreciate more consistency.
Delicious pupusas, yuca, plantains and nice helpful staff! I also love the pickled cabbage, jalapeno, carrot "slaw" side that came with the platter.
These are the best pupusas!! I drive 40 minutes just to get them. Very flavorful
One of my best places for food orders I highly recommend one o f the belt places in oregon.
I'm not sure what I was expecting but this place is amazing. I got the steak pupusa dish with a cheese/jalapeno pupusa and they top it with a pickled slaw. Sooo good. Definitely will come back when I'm in the Gresham area
Love the pork & cheese pupusas and pork tamales here! Their curtido is also delicious. Would highly recommend this place. I get full from 2 pupusas- they're filling. Friendly staff as well.
So great! Loved the food, so cheap for what you get! Wonderful atmosphere, even sat outside and watched volleyball next door!
Food is always delicious. Even though they are knows for their amazing Popusas this new sandwich is on a whole other level of its own. 😁😎
