Cosmic Soda Pop & Candy Shop

When they say they have 250+ sodas they weren't kidding. I was even more surprised as to how many soda's fit in such a small area. The selection is wide and interesting (I'm a self proclaimed soda expert). I was happy to see that they have some Saranac Soda's which are from my home town of Utica, NY. Would like to see the Ginger Beer from them, but just because they didn't have that particular flavor DOESN'T hurt them at all. They really do have a great selection and is very well organized. The soda's are separated by "genre / style" and/or "brand" also the prices are clearly listed. The origin of the soda is also listed. The Candy shop part of the store is also cool. They have bulk candies as well as individual candies. The selection is good and pretty diverse. I was happy with it, because I happen to like old fashioned candies. Would like to see more black licorice though. The decor is nice and comfortable. Isn't trying to be cheesy and old fashioned with random oak barrels or anything for display. Its pretty modern looking and clean cut. There is a small "lounge" type of area if you just wanna drink a soda and read the paper or something. The prices on the soda's range from $1.50 - 3, but generally the sodas are 2.50$ which is very reasonable. Highly recommend this place if your an authentic soda lover.
