My husband and I came here for a late dinner with our two kids, 8 & 12, around 8pm on a Tuesday night. All the other customers were in the lounge section, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant area at that time. The food was amazing, even kids liked everything too! We ordered two of the dinner specials and it came with Large enough portions to feed two adults and two kids with still a bit more leftover!Quick and Friendly service, we will be back again soon!

About 20 years, minus a bit during the pandemic. Great combination dinners. BBQ Pork and egg fried rice is so Wonderful!

An old iconic Asian restaurant in need of updating.
We called in our dinner order, which was ready in fifteen minutes, just like they stated.
The food was tasty, And of course, plenty of it!
That is if you want to eat a whole serving of bean sprouts, mushrooms, and onions! I ordered chicken and pork. I expected to have more of the items ordered and less of the filler.
Ours had a few chicken bits or dry pork bits and the veggies as mentioned above!
Cabbage, bokchoy, handful of peppers, carrots, and celery are cheap.
They should have used more of that—less of the bean sprouts and onions. I will say their Orange Chicken is very, very good. The fried rice was dry, and the steamed rice was sticky, which I liked!

My neighborhood restaurant. I eat here fairly often or get take out. It's always busy & The owners/Staff are very friendly, and remember the regulars by name. There's a restaurant and a bar, and they're both very comfortable and relaxing. The cocktails are great, the food is great, and the portions are big. The Chicken Chow Mein is wonderful, and so is the Mu Shu Pork. The Sweet & Sour is delicious. The sauce is perfect, and the batter crunchy. I have not eaten everything in the menu, but what I have eaten has always been very good I am lucky to have this place just down the street

Golden dynasty simply has fantastic food. There's no other way to put it.
I haven't consumed everything on the menu but I've been working toward that goal. From what I have sample thus far, which is about a third or maybe half of the menu. Everything has been fantastic and left me looking forward to my next visit.
Service is fantastic and always friendly and willing to help out in a moment's notice.
Whether you're ordering out or dining in, you definitely will not regret the food nor service with the golden dynasty.

Food is good, prices are ok. Only service is stopping them from being 5 stars. Service isn't horrible, but could be improved. Also the Sesame chicken has no sauce on it. I drowned mine in hot sauce to keep it from being dry but unless you want to eat a bottle of hot sauce, it's gonna be dry. Probably good to feed small children tho, they won't be able to get sticky. I'd love it if it had a brown sauce on it.

My father took me here and the decor is a little dated but it more then makes up for it with its food and service, its not like other places where the vegetables are in some kind of paste and the soup (egg flower) is tasteless. the service was good/very good, had us wait one time for around 10 mins for our check but the other times it was quick so it could have been a one time thing.

Still going here and still loving it but I will add a photo of the #8 dinner and please understand it was a to-go order and I only put half in my large bowl for dinner and it's still enough for dinner tomorrow.....

Always generous portions for the price ( even though the prices went up, but so has everyone else’s) combination dinner usually will have enough to feed two people. Best egg flower soup I’ve had and the salt and pepper shrimp is really delicious also! Fast and friendly, call and order pick up and it’s usually ready in under twenty minutes.

The day I visited this restaurant, they offered chow feun specials the include choices of beef, chicken or shrimps. I ordered the beef chow fuen and the shrimp and scallop dishes (I was hungry). The portions were very large and tasty, especially the beef dish. I will definitely come back if I were in the neighborhood.

Easily the best Chinese bar I've been to in Portland so far (and I've been to a lot). Excellent food. This is a small thing, but ... best egg-flower soup you'll ever have. Nice folks. Circular velvet booths and cushy chairs on wheels. The exterior look of the place is totally deceptive – it's plush inside.

They have an amazing happy hour and lunch menu, and I have yet to have bad food from here. I've been a customer for 15 years now and still cannot get enough! The Szechuan Chicken is my favorite dish, but everything I've tried was fresh, hot and delicious. Vin rocks behind the bar!

Great Cheap lunch menu from 11am to 4 pm. Only place I have found near me that also has Mar Far chicken and it's divine. The sub gum is amazing..

Very happy! So good. It's so nostalgic. It's a time capsule with vintage interior. Service is FAST and kind. Our server Vin, was absolutely the kindest and efficient. We had an excellent meal for an amazing price. 👏 Bravo.
