Chickpeadx - Portland - Photo album

Fresh and tasty dishes with fun sauces. Pick your style - wrap, rice bowl or salad. The fried eggplant is delicious.
The Zipper is really great! All the dining options are good and I like a food pod that had all good choices. ChickPDX is one of our standards. Good meal for around $10. The falafel salad is my go to dish. Go in, order, good does come to you, easy and then bus your table. Lots of spots out in the sun
Was at the Zipper for pizza, so I went next door to try the falafel. Thought they were really good. I think I might like the falafel at Oasis and the Gyro House a bit better. No complaints though. Staff was really friendly even when I told them what I was doing. I'll update if I go back.
The falafels here are my favorite so far and the fried cauliflower was also a hit. The food was prepared quickly and all of it was very good. They carry Oregon Tonic Kombucha for the 'booch enthusiasts. I recommend the platter so you can try a few of their creations in one sitting. There is commun
Fantastic falafel. The owner, an experienced chef, has created a unique "Northwest Inspired" take on the falafel. You have to try it for yourself.. and tell all your friends. Once the word gets out I have no doubt this will become a popular spot--the food is undeniably good.
I've eaten at ChickPeaDX since it was a cart. Love their food! Usually the pita with fresh falafel and fillings--roasted eggplant included is amazing. Lately have ordered salad with pita ingredients over greens b/c less carbs & it's just as tasty. Also a good variety of tahini sauces to choose from.
Everything is fresh and delicious. The cauliflower is particularly amazing. The Zipper in general is amazing right now. A few small plates from here, a couple from Wares next door, an amazing cocktail from paydirt and some soft serve (and a stunning chicken sandwich) from Basilisk is a wonderful
Awesome falafel spot in The Zipper building. Reasonable prices, three sauce options, some finger food, and plenty of falafels. Great option for vegetarians. The Zipper has indoor and outdoor seating, bike parking, on-street car parking, and other restaurants, bar, and coffee shop as well.
ChickPDX serves amazing food. The bowls we ordered had amazingly fresh falafel, fried eggplant, carrots, cabbage and basil mint tahini over rice. The hummus and pita was delicious too. They are the first of a few establishments moving into their new location at 2705 NE Sandy which is an indoor / out
Love love love this place. Unlike the previous poster the fried eggplant is one of my favorite parts of the dish! We are not vegetarian either but go here at least once a week because we are addicted to this place!
I am not a vegetarian but I love this place. Everything is fresh and well seasoned. I go between the falafel bowl and the salad with the BMT sauce. They also have a nice community seating in the back. Go check this place out!
Some of the best felafel I've ever had and I just came back from Israel, turkey, and Europe. They also have amazing sauces including amba, which you must try.
Had the Falafel Pita, it was amazing. If you're a sauce person like me though, you may want to spring for an extra serving of the tzatziki sauce.
I seriously love the food at this place, it is such a good treat but the only problem is being closed Monday. I really hate when I start heading across town and thinking about the amazing food I'm going to go eat, getting halfway there and remembering, "oh yeah they're closed today for some weird re
Good falafel, but they were out of hummus and it was a bit hipster for me. I like a good Middle Eastern meal - this was good, but not that.
Delicious. Falafel was really good.
