I do not understand how such simple dishes can be made so flavorful, I mean really? Carrot salad? amazingly awesome!. Ground up mushrooms and garlic? Heavenly!! Kabobs are excellent, Dumplings are excellent. Downside they close at 2 PM Friday and are closed Saturday. The outside looks a little sketchy but the inside is nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.
The outside of the restaurant has not been landscaped in any way and can be a deterrent to coming in, BUT the inside is lovely. The food is absolutely delightful. They serve generous portions of your choice beef, chicken or lamb. I recommend the lamb and or the borscht. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because of the lack of care on the property around the restaurant.
Super good food!!! I am Russian and I went here with my family and we were very pleasantly surprised!!! We ordered all three appetizers, all were great, especially the mushroom spread! Then we ordered Borstch and it was just as good as my mom's Borstch (which is saying A LOT!!!). We ordered the lamb and chicken kabobs and the meat was super moist and tasty! The portions were generous and we even had lots of let overs for a yummy lunch the next day. This is a DEFINITE go if you are interested in trying real Uzbekistan or Russian style food!
The food is amazing and the service is great. We had lamb shish kebab and pelov which were one of the best I've ever had. Also I loved their mushroom paste and tea. In general, every thing was great and I had one of my best experiences there. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends too.
Food is SO GOOD there! I had borsch and plov - both incredibly tasty. My wife's lamb shank was perfect as well as daughters' potato vareniky. Napoleon cake and tea did not disappoint either.
Waiter was attentive and food came fast.
Do not let outside look discourage you - inside is clean and AC works well.
No, it's not appealing from the outside & doesn't look open, but it is! Great food, great service, and great music! Besides the very good entrees, be sure to try the honey cake--like nothing we'd ever had before.
My wife and I really enjoy the quiet, soothing, atmosphere in the place. We've eaten there several times and found the food very tasty, the staff is friendly and polite, and the prices are really good.

The food there is Amazing tried the Plov and Beef kabob was simple and good. And Kvas was outstanding. very pleased with the visit
The food was so carefully and freshly made. I've never had Russian or uzbekian food. Really good stuff in a ln unassuming spot.
