very cute place! I got a dirty chai and it was amazing! My friend got a doughnut and it was very cutely decorated. the staff was very polite even during a small rush of customers. Cute artwork cute atmosphere and very good coffee. Coffee was smooth and not acid which is very essential for a good cup of coffee. 5/5 will definitely stop by again!

This place was really impressive. The food was freshly made, tasted great, and was big in portions. The man working there early in the morning was very friendly and made eating there a nice experience.

Staff was friendly and attentive. They brought a bacon piece to my dog. We dined in and ordered the breakfast burrito and two different bagels. The food was fresh and the coffee was wonderful. The atmosphere was very welcoming and I appreciated the artwork of local artists they had.

We went here for breakfast the other day. The service was pretty slow so we waited a long time before we could order and before we got our food. We enjoyed everything we ordered but nothing seemed to be salted. I personally might not go back here, but it's worth checking out!

Had a perfect little afternoon today over a long coffee hangout with a friend. There is no more perfect place to get cozy and have a delicious cup of coffee and play games during the long winter. Service was fantastic friendly with all kinds of wonderful characters coming in and out. I will def go back. Was well worth the journey from out of town to spend some time here.

My Snickerdoodle Latte was absolutely delicious. It took me back to memories of cookies. The egg sandwich was delicious and the eggs were steamed which I loved, the perfect consistency. We also split a tasty strawberry waffle with both maple and strawberry syrup. It was wonderful that the kitchen plated it on two plates. The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is in an old house which made the dining experience nostalgic.

Allergy Alert * it’s very, I mean very rare to find a breakfast spot that allows us to enjoy breakfast due to our dairy and nut allergies. Anna’s has a vegan scramble and burrito that is fresh made and delicious! The area is in a cute part of town. It’s a unique and unpretentious, small space. The person at the helm who I assume is the owner was great and felt like an old friend. The coffee was hearty but smooth. We even found. Vegan bar that is nut free and locally made. This will deff be a new stop for us while in NW Portland. Super thankful for finding you. ❤️ thanks for keeping us safe and making the world a better place.

I think about Anna Bannana's like getting invited to breakfast at a friend's house. It is a pleasure to go and I always look forward to the food and company. Their menu is somehow both large and small at the same time. The ingredient are high-quality and the food is prepared in a small kitchen. They have a back room for added seating and the walls are decorated with art from local artists. The people who work here are lovely and I look forward to seeing them. The outdoor porch and patio are very nice for sitting on NW 21st Ave and reading, eating, or thinking. The coffee is excellent and many people come here just for that. They also have a large and current selection of newspapers for reading. This place is a fixture in the neighborhood and city. It should be regularly enjoyed as such.

Amazing breakfast! Our goal was to find a new breakfast place. Found it! 😁 I just wish I had thought to take a photo of the food. I had the French toast waffles with bacon and a Gingerbread Man Latte. Yum!!! I will definitely be back.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. I’ve been in town for just over a week now and I’ve been to Anna Bananas twice. Both times I got the waffle with whipped cream, chopped bananas, strawberries, and blueberries with bacon. Absolutely delicious. Coffee is very good as well. The guy who runs this place is a gem of a person. Just love the vibe of eating at a table on the porch of an old house. Highly recommend!

Such a cute neighborhood spot! It feels like you're hanging out in someone's house. There's art from a bunch of local artists on the wall. Lots of good vegan options and friendly service.

This is a fantastic little place. The atmosphere is quiet, cosy and homey; something very few coffee shops seem to have and something I really value! I come here, sit on the couch inside and read my book. At the same time as being homey, with the vibe of an old, slightly run-down and very comfortable home, the coffee and food is excellent quality! They have creative options for coffee, and a large menu of both breakfast and brunch food. I think this is a hidden gem in Portland, and highly recommend it.

Outstanding. Super chill vibe, great music, comfortable atmosphere, food clearly made with love by someone who loves to cook. Coffees have weird flavours but also made sooooo darn well. Wasn't sure at first, but turned out to be our favorite place. Would stop in daily if we could. Absolutely the best hands down.

This is my all time favorite little spot for breakfast!! I order the same thing every time and it takes amazing every time! The spicy chai is yum but their croissant special is what knocks it out of the park EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The croissant is . Packed in between of his goodness is fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese and I always add on bacon and avocado! The size alone of this deliciousness will have you nice and full, the atmosphere at Ana Bananas is so welcoming and when I am there, I feel seen! The art they have all around is from the hands of local artists and is up for sale. You won’t be disappointed with your experience here!
