This place is beyond AWESOME! I love it. Food is fresh, wonderful. The soup's are a total delight. If you walk out of here unsatisfied, you are impossible to please. The portion's are huge, so come hungry or be prepared for to go boxes. The employees are incredible! The Price's for the food is great being the size.

Not deserving of 5 stars but their current score is way underneath what it should be. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab wontons and sesame chicken I had here. Perhaps a bit too much sauce but some people like it that way. Friendly service as well. Hopefully this review helps get them where they should be which is probably a 3.8

Their Hot & Sour Soup is superb! You can tell by the taste that it's made according to the traditional recipe in which the heat is provided not just by dried red pepper flakes, as so many places do to cut expenses, but also ground white pepper. Also, the balance between the hot and the sour is just about perfect -- there are only 2 Chinese restaurants I've found since moving to Portland at which I didn't need to add either vinegar or pepper to the Hot & Sour Soup, and this is one of them.

We drive commercially and eat all over the country. The service was very nice. The pork on the appetizer was nicely cooked, not dry like most of the. Our dinners were very good and fresh.

The server cared more about clearing tables in a half-empty restaurant over taking our order, and she didn't take a hint as we stared at her, even after making eye contact. My wife ordered her meal without mushrooms, but the server didn't think to notify her that the egg flower soup she ordered also contains mushrooms. We overheard that the kitchen used mushrooms the first time, and we were glad she sent it back, at least. My ma po tofu and her chicken and broccoli were both delicious.

Thought the deluxe chow mein was good until I tried the teriyaki beef, which was even better. The portions - huge. Made 3 plus meals out of it. Will be back if I find my self back in this wetland.

Nope, never again. We stopped here for a quick dinner before facing evening traffic across the I-5 bridge. The place is very run down and not at all appealing. We ordered crab puffs and a combo plate that included pork fried rice, pork chow mien and sweet and sour chicken. Nothing tasted good. Crab puffs were soggy and the dipping sauce was far too sweet with no real flavor to it other than sweet, the main meal was also very bland and the sweet and sour chicken tasted like it was microwaved from a box. It was very dry. The chow mien was mostly flavorless and tasted oddly earthy.. The food took forever to get to our table and we watched many others served who came in long after us. The waitress was dismissive and inattentive and did not ask us once how is the food. No apologies for the late meal. I love Chinese food. It is my very favorite. I could not finish my food and had no desire to take it home, I am not one to write a bad review but this is a place to stay away from.

Nice bucket. Boy, this place has seen better days. When you enter the place there was a bucket on the floor for catching the rain water coming through the ceiling - never a good sign. We ordered take out and really had low expectations for the food. Well, it lived up to our expectations. The mushu pork was OK, but the pancakes were dry and brittle. The General Tsaos chicken tasted like it was prepared about two days ago - very dry. <br/>I would have given them a lower star score, but my expectations were quite low for take out. It was priced right for the quality of the food.

Kiddie Chinese Food.... What you get when you let your young daughters select the place for din-din. This joint is the poster restaurant for needing a 'Neutral' voting option. Ya can't say it was bad...and ya can't say it was good. What you can say, is that you are ridiculously full and you have a ton of leftovers to take home to your teenagers. Nice people, clean place, typical kitschy decor, and all very reasonably priced. I bore myself writing this review, but I bare the burden of duty to the readers of the Spoon to do so. And yes, my little girls loved it...

Helpful for gluten-free. I needed a place to get some food that was nearby my hotel. I ordered takeout, and they were helpful with making my food without soy sauce. I got beef and broccoli and chicken chop suey. The vegetables were fresh. I wouldn't say it would be my first choice, but it was close-by and I was able to order decent gluten-free food.
