Bloomberg talked big game about Red Sauce. It's pretty good pizza. They charge a mandatory 20%. I abstain for places that do that. Check out my profile for great eateries and cocktail bars. ✌🏼
Red Sauce Pizza and their staff are the absolute BEST. We already loved them dearly for their delicious food and kid-friendly atmosphere but we went this evening and before our food even arrived our 3 year old got unexpectedly sick in the restaurant. We felt terrible but they were so incredibly kind i cant quite believe the level of graciousness. Our family will be life long supporters of red sauce. Thank you.
In a city full of incredible food, especially pizza, Red Sauce shines as bright as anybody. One of our go-to neighborhood spots and should be yours as well.
Some folks don’t like their 20% automatic gratuity, but we’re happy to contribute and usually tip that way anyhow. Restaurants have been feeling the squeeze just like a lot of us.
**The pies pictured are added just for fun, but are actually some we made at home. Theirs look far better. Go find out for yourself!!**
Great topping combinations, excellently chewy crust, casear salad has nice variety of greens in it including kale! The chocolate chip cookies here are a must and they also have soft serve ice cream and pineapple dole whip!
Ordering online ahead of time is really easy and there's instructions online for how to reheat/refresh your takeout pizza to enjoy it at its best. (In oven at 425 for 2-3 min) highly recommend doing this.
The HOUSE SALAD was the SHIT😋 but the preparation and delivery of my pizza blew my mind with speed but also tasty.
🍕pepperoni/sausage/black olive/mushrooms 👏🏽
However, please know they put the gratuity on the charge also and I did not know that. So, personally, I give cash tips. I never saw signage stating such, and this is someone's choice to make as a customer on how much of a gratuity to give.
So good. Almost a hybrid of wood fired Neapolitan and thin crust NY style, and their execution and consistency are A+. Friendly staff and all around fantastic spot.
Thank you for showing your support to our PAT and our community during the portland teacher strike by giving discounts to their delicious-food and pizza! I had some while striking refiling downtown! Thank you for also opening your door to use a restroom during our strike-that’s a gift that’s appreciated by all teachers and families that are on the line supporting our movement. We are forever fans and forever grateful for your support and solidarity! - North Portland PPS Teachers on strike
The vegan sub is the best in town! It’s only available on Wed and Thurs though.
Great patio too.
The Ritual Arts vegan pizza is soooo good and might be my fave vegan pizza in Portland. The sauce is amazing and I love the plant-based pep.
Seriously one of my favorite pizzas in town! Those are some QUALITY peps they use. They typically make their pies on the crispy side so I like to request a light bake and “dirty” where they add fresh herbs and chili flakes - no extra charge! They always have some great seasonal specials and cannot pass up either the soft serve or the GIANT rice krispy treats. Rad people & rad pizza.
NY style pies, thin reasonably crispy enjoyable. Just a bit overpriced for what it is. This would be a 5/5 if it was a $22-25 pie.
I love this place. They do add 20% gratuity to all Togo orders, so if that doesn’t fit in your budget it’s best to go elsewhere. This place is one of our ‘treat meal’ spots, pizza is great, love the kale in the Caesar and we always get cheesy breadsticks. Also, don’t sleep on the browned butter rice crispy treats. Their merch is peak, I really really really need to get the Gay Pizza tank.
Yoooooooo! Not only is the pizza and Shardell’s spicy honey 10|10. Try a massive hoagie, (fire emoji)! It is hard to find local establishments with a genuine soul. Thank you for showing up for our community and providing quality food. Also, if you didn’t know, now you know, they’ve achieved 100% on their health inspection for the last 7 years. (Since opening!) Thank you, Red Sauce Pizza. Your dedication to our community is unmatched.
Ok. I have had a lot of pizza in my life, and this was probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. And let’s not even talk about the house salad. When you make pizza that good, you can totally phone in the sides…but this salad had mixed greens, heirloom tomatoes, cucumber, pepitas, feta cheese and a green goddess dressing. What? And then the pizza. Perfect, flavorful, slightly chewy, slightly charred crust. Delicious sauce. Not too much cheese or too little cheese. Perfect amount and ratio of toppings. Pure perfection. And the patio was a perfect place to enjoy it all. Even down to the playing cards on the table. I shall return often, and bring others. Pure perfection. Anyone who says differently just doesn’t understand perfection.
Red Sauce is SO good. Fun, friendly staff, with the cutest back patio area. Came here a few months ago on a sunny day to celebrate passing a test and had the best time eating great pizza and drinking beer in the outdoor seating area. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Portland, would recommend.
I researched best pizza place in Portland and Red Sauce Pizza was in the Top 15. Visiting Portland during a pandemic, very few pizza places were open on a Monday. Take-out or Delivery was my only option. I chose Take-out.
I ordered a Build Your Own calzone with Ezzo pepperoni and Princess Sarah sausage. The calzone came the three types of cheeses, one of them being large chunks of ricotta. The calzone was awesome. While there were parts of the calzone where the meat was still a little cold and the to go sauce as well, my overall experience great.
