Love this little gem! It's been a few years since I've been here, but the food, service and atmosphere are EXACTLY as I remember. They have all sorts of healthy and local option and speacials. They're always willing to make a special into something even more special by adding this or that at my request. The staff are great, they don't bother you while you eat. The super basic yet cozy cafe setting fits right into Portland and creates an open invitation to come back as often as possible! A+ in my breakfast book!

This place is so good! I've only been a couple times and got the eggs Benedict each time, I will try something else next time. First time I went was a weekend, it was packed and took a while to get my food since they were really busy, it was worth the wait. I went again on a Friday afternoon, much slower then so food came out quickly. Consistently tasty food each time. Love the homey feel in here and decorations. I will be back!

This place is cozy and consistently good. They have a lot to choose from on the menu. The space is small. There isn't much space to wait for a table. As such out party got skipped in the list because we were standing in the shade outside on a really hot day and didn't hear the host. There is only one unisex bathroom that seems to get a lot of foot traffic. There is some fair-weather outdoor seating. I would eat here again.

Pretty neat little cafe. Good menu and food with fast service. Waitress wasnt exactly friendly which is why I didnt rate a 5.

Amazing menu options! So hard to choose! I had the salmon benedict and it tasted delicious 💖. Specials, cozy atmosphere, very reasonable prices, friendly quick and responsive service, clean restroom. Definetly will come back.

Amazing omelette! One of the best breakfasts I have had in Portland!

This place is pretty small on the inside and the bathroom takes up quite a bit of space.
There is only street parking.
The staff was nice and very entertaining.
I ordered the Mexican Coffee this time and it was pretty strong. Great value. This drink tasted great and was very affordable.
For food, I got the Lox Benedict this time. I liked it more than the catfish hash. I like that they poached the eggs longer so the eggs were not runny. The sauce is amazing. The salmon is pretty salty but it balances well with the sauce, eggs, and english muffin. The grits are good.
Will come back.

I'm giving this 5 stars and they got my food wrong, that's how good it is. I ordered the catfish Benedict thing, it didn't have any catfish but it was stupid good, such deep flavor, that plate was scrapped clean. Despite my lack of complaints, they demanded I not pay for the meal so I spilled it over to the tip. The nice woman working had a really great personality, very down to earth and direct. This might be my new go-to breakfast spot

I placed a breakfast catering order for a meeting in our office this morning of several attorneys from various states. I'd looked over the usual menus we habitually go to but everything was looking been-there, done-that, so I was happy to hear about Bridges from our firm's receptionist (who has a collection of menus and such). Let me tell you what, people. This was a gorgeous presentation. Their scones and muffins and other baked goods were stunning. They looked moist, delicious and very inviting, and better still, were moist and crazy good! I had a blackberry scone that was to die for, as I said to Olivia, the very, very sweet gal who took my order. Seriously, you must try these folks. My order included fresh fruit, and we received a huge bowl of the most gorgeous fruit salad I've ever seen. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and presented beautifully in lovely glass pitchers, the coffee was really good, not bitter (and I'm a coffee snob), they brought fresh cream, and, well, I just cannot say enough about how wonderful everything was. Thank you, Bridges, Olivia, and the whole staff for a job truly well done in this day and age of sometimes just doing the minimum. It is much appreciated! Continued success to you!

This place is phenomenal. I had the chicken and waffles with poached eggs and fresh maple syrup. The chicken was sauteed in some kind of fruit flavored marinade (delicious) and then topped with toasted hazelnuts. Only $14 and the freshest coffee. Great atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place while shopping at the Nike store, but so glad I did. Food was fresh, felt healthy and very tasty, lots of options for vegetarians as well. Also the biscuit was very very good! Nice brunch ambience. I highly recommend visiting!

First time giving a review but I’m a repeat customer and have been going there once every couple months for years. The woman who’s always there taking orders and bringing out food is wonderful and the food is always good. If not for the setting I’d think I was being served by my mom or auntie at their house. I heard someone was verbally abused by a customer there today and I just want to say that you all are awesome and I hope you’re there for many years to come! 💗

Friendly service, good food. We shared the City Breakfast of challah French toast, eggs, bacon and maple syrup. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The bacon was fine, not fabulous but ok. The French toast tasty. The one fly in the ointment was that the butter and maple syrup were cold, sigh. They have a nice variety of tea from less common brands. The coffee isn't as good as it used to be, if I specifically wanted coffee or make another choice.
All in all, we had a lovely, relaxed breakfast.

Good food. Not too fancy. Service was good.
Noticed they had some toys for the little kid at another table 👍.
My vegetarian wife was very happy with her scramble. Decent parking a plus.

Bridges is one of our consistent brunch go-to spots. Good food, and the staff treats you like family. There is a small wait at times on the weekend, but it's rarely very long. This is a great brunch spot.
