We stopped for a quick pick-me-up snack and coffee, and were rewarded with a fantastic experience. The shop is clean and well-lit; the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. My Breakfast Slider, sub arugula for salami, featured a small herbed frittata, provolone, and Calabrian chile mayo (major yum) on a toasted sesame bun. The Caprese Sandwich was nice - moz just doesn’t get any fresher! The Sweet Roll was probably the best thing I put in my mouth all day. You owe it to yourself to pay this place a visit.

One of my favorite spots in Portland. The breakfast slider is the perfect start to your day and all of the pastries are amazing. Very friendly staff as well. Love this place!

Delicious Americano from Guatemala and the pastries are divine OMG. One of my top spots here in Portland. The assortment and variety of products is extremely tempting and well worth it. Grazie, Bella Italia

So much to love about this place. They don't charge extra for alternative milk ♥️. They also have a carafe of oat milk at the coffee self service table so you don't have to ask or it. The food is AMAZING. Someone that works here loves plants and there are tons. The employees have been here for years so I hope that means they are happy.

A+ If you're driving, grab street parking on SE 91st. Friendly staff, everything I got was fresh and beautifully baked. Cute space to hang out in and people watch.

Beautiful bread, wonderful food (I love the breakfast sandwich and the roasted veggie sammich) and consistent quality since they opened and blessed our neighborhood with this classy joint.

Oh man, talk about well worth the wait! Michelle Vernier is a highly respected chef and the Portland community, and Lents could not be luckier to have Bella’s in the neighborhood. Their soft opening was complete with delicious pastries, fresh brewed coffee and espresso, and Steven Smith Tea (which, as a tea drinker, I was super excited to see them carry!) Cookies, blueberry tarts, a delicious flaky apple pastry that I’m not even going to try to spell, fresh baked bread, almond tea cakes...all present in this first day. I shared the apple pastry, the tea cake, and the blueberry tart – all as delicious as I remember from Vernier’s days at Lents international farmers market. Her pastries are perfectly balanced with fresh bold flavors and just the right amount of sweetness. The space is clean, welcoming, and really adorable! The team at Bella’s has carefully curated antique items that fit perfectly in the café. I can’t wait for wine, antipasti, and lots of chats with family and friends after the grand opening. This is definitely not a spot to miss!

It is hard to find a good Italian bakery and market. You will find a nice selection of pasteries, breads, cookies, salads, sandwiches and retail items such as pasta, cheese and olive oil. I selected an apple cake, almond cake, chocolate coffee cake and a anise biscotti. It was hard to pass up the olive focaccia bread. The Apple and Almond cakes were moist and had a nice crunch to them. They were both very good and had a nice blend of flavors. The chocolate coffee cake was also very good with the crumb topping. The olive focaccia bread had great taste and it was hard not to eat the entire half loaf. Located on SE Woodstock and 91st in Portland. Parking is very limited in this area. A great Italian bakery with filed to order cannolis, pasteries, great Italian breads, drinks, sandwiches and retail goods with friendly service.
