Love the place. You've got to check it out if you are spending a night in Portland! Easy to get in, fun to be there. You'd love the music. They've got ample space for dance. Big enough to accommodate 100s of folks. If you are visiting Portland, strike a conversation with a stranger here and you'd be surprised with how friendly and warm they are.

It is quiet on a week night but can get very busy and noisy on a weekend. I like the nods to the history of the property. The building is old and I love the decor.

Very cool place. Has a fair amount of seating outside, the staff is very friendly and they have good drinks. Great place to chill with a couple of friends. They also have good music and dancing. Not my favorite place to dance though since there's no actual dance floor, it's kind of like dance wherever you stand. But it's still a very cool place to have a good time.

Ate chicken parm sandwich (a little dry, but I like things saucy), mozzarella sticks (yum), fries (double yum), and *tiramisu* (triple yum!)
They also have salad and garlic bread. 😝
It's almost like the stars were aligned. 🤞🏼👍🏻 So difficult to make good memories these days with friends. 😓

A lot of fun. Very good mixed drinks, a gorgeous centerpiece over the bar and friendly staff. Becomes a club after 10, good for conversation before then. Both were a fun atmosphere though. Smoking area with drinks

We looooove it here! Bartenders are always super friendly and the DJ is amazing! We only do M-W because we like to avoid the weekend crowd. It’s super chill before the weekend hits and the music is on point! Last time we went in the vibe was so chill until a bunch of annoying drunk chicks started ruining it for everyone! We left soon after, and vowed to return because it’s not always like that. Burger Stevens is always delicious! If you haven’t tried a burger there yet, please do!

I had great service tonight. We just stopped in for a drink. While we were there my wife had a low blood sugar episode. The bartender grabbed her some bread and made sure she was comfortable. Really appreciate the kindness and good service. My beer was good too!

This is a great dive bar. I met one of my tinder dates here and it was perfect that it was dark because he probably couldn’t see the huge pores on my face.
They have a huge selection of alcohol and all their signature cocktails was so delicious. I definitely recommend coming here for a tinder meet up. Especially if you don’t want to try and cute.

ended up here spontaneously with my new friends for the night... the night was a bit of a haze and i had no clue what the name of the place was but just now found it after finding a card in my purse from a photographer who was in there taking pics of everyone... the inside is cool and modern i had a good time here dancing and having drinks. they had a DJ spinning during a weekday which i thought was awesome and plenty of people inside but not in a packed sardines type of way. overall a nice lively spot

I've been to Dig-a-pony several times and have always enjoyed the experience. Despite the reputation as a hipster bar the bartenders have never been anything but friendly. They have a great selection of whiskies. Their line up of ever-changing, eclectic DJs create a good balance between laid back and funky energy. It's a great place to meet up with friends.

Very relaxed early evenings. Crowds seem to start after 10. Even with a large amount of people getting drinks is not an issue...Great service!
If you need water they have a water station. Terrific idea. All bars should do this...Nice Job!
Ordered the Long island iced tea on different days, times, and bar tenders. What I got was consistentency again and again along with the fine drink...Nice Job
The food I had was also great although they do not have much selection. But, I don't see a need to shine here. Typical bar food keeping it simple.
The crowd here is mostly younger 21-25 is most common. Some are older some middle age, but they come for the music. People are dressed fairly nice.
Most music is played from vinyl records. They keep a consistent beat.
I highly recommend Dig A Pony.

Great place to grab drinks! Also, gets pretty lively on weekends, and ladies love this place for some reason. Last Friday night I was there, the DJ was much better than I used to remember.

Cool atmosphere. I really like the interior design of this pub. On a weeknight they were playing Johnny Cash and it had a relaxed upscale country bar feel to it. Plus they carry Double Mountain IRA which is the best beer ever created :)

We had the entire place to ourselves while we were there. Spent 4hrs and some good money getting happy hour deals. The food was SO GOOD!!! The cocktails were delicious but best of all, the service! It's worth writing home about.

Fabulous spicy chicken sandwich!!! We went there on Sunday night & it was empty but the actual place was nice. The bartender was super-sweet and told us that Mondays and Tuesdays were packed for spelling night and salsa night and of course Friday and Saturday are good. I'll have to come back when is packed to see...

The best DJs in town nightly, occasional incredible shows, dapper & brilliant bar staff, great food, inventive cocktails, well-curated tap list, great outdoor area, view of the city. Nothing more you could ask for (Except fewer weekend douche-bags. ATTN, douche-bags: this bar sucks. I heard Boiler Room is the new cool spot!)

Excellent drinks and old school vibe. Totally our type of place with bare ceilings, worn floors and U-shaped bar. Serving up great local IPAs and rosé depending upon what tickles your fancy. We loved our first visit and would love to come back soon!
