The best wings I have had since arriving here two years ago. Definitely a quintessential Portland dive bar. Quirky and clearly a place for a cold beer and a stiff drink. The humans behind the bar were engaging and attentive which is not always the case with some neighborhood haunts.
Great neighborhood dive bar, great whiskey selection, good cocktails and good food. I like the pork sandwich. Great burger too. We love Lutz
Great little tavern. Only had the fries (food wise) but they were delicious. Shoestring style, but great texture and they stayed warm! I want to go back when I'm more hungry because they have a large selection of food.
I’ve found my new favorite dive bar…
A neoclassical punk bar with friendly efficient staff, excellent music and the perfect splash of dive bar feel in the heart of Woodstock.
We will definitely be coming back.
Solid food. (I don’t know if another place in Portland with a Texas Tenderloin sandwich on the menu.)
If they have it, get the Painkiller slushy. Trust me.
Woodstock's fantastic little bar. Best described as Portland in the 90's when all was good about this town! Great bartenders and service. Hope this place stays around forever!
I am bad at making decisions. This bar is a good decision. I ordered a drink that at most bars are stingy with because it's a silly import. She unjudgingly handed me the drink. Best ever
Former dive bar now something of a neighborhood hipster bar with solid bar food and all the booze you could want. Often crowded but a good place to hang.
They had a very tasty frozen Painkiller cocktail, chili fries were good as well. It's a share size for me.
A classic dive bar without all the seediness (that's a good thing). The food is consistently good, there are some great pinball machines, creative cocktails, and a nice selection of NA beers for those of us who need to go that way.
I'm really glad to live within walking distance!
Good food! We had home made chili and an awesome salad for a very reasonable price. Staff was pleasant. Drinks were good. We have family in the neighborhood, this has become our ‘Go To’ when we visit.
My favorite dive bar in Portland. Cheap, retro, chill, welcoming. The happy hour menu and drink specials can't be beat; recently I paid $5 for a stiff-ass vodka soda and a plate of chips and salsa. That's value for money right there.
