Perfect hole in the wall bar with a nice menu and a very large, covered back patio. I can’t believe I’m not already a regular at this place.
The bartender was super efficient and friendly. The food menu is slightly elevated for bar food but still what you’re looking for when you’re craving bar food.
The patio has tons of separate seating areas, a TV and it is well covered for rainy days. The patio is also dog friendly and (even though it’s almost completely closed-in) smoke friendly as there was a table of about 10 old white dudes smoking pipes just fumigating the place. I don’t recommend going on pipe club day.
Parking can be a challenge in the neighborhood.

I love this little pub. It's small and dark but the back patio is very nice even on R
rainy day. They have beer, cider and cocktails. The food is really delicious. I think I always get the fish when I go. Fish and chips or fish tacos. They also have Scotch eggs.

Good food at a good price! All the comfort foods. I like sitting out back on the covered patio. They have weekly events. Easily could become your go to for alone times or with a group.

Great Irish Pub with some great bites and good beers and ciders. I recommend the scotch eggs. Hard boiled egg wrapped in breakfast sausage and fried. Oh so good.

Just moved to the area and so excited for this to be my spot. The smoking is the hard part. The only drawback. The air gets trapped and the whole patio turns into my childhood bowling alley. Which, is probably cool for the handful of people who are there to smoke.
Any chance you can do smoking/nonsmoking days?

Came here to have a couple beers on Saturday, Jan. 7 at about 3:30 pm. This was my second visit. The place is very cozy. Good beer and spirits selection. The outdoor patio area was comfortable.

The burgers were juicy and flavorful, the meatloaf was better than what I make at home, and the scotch eggs are a must.
Our group ordered some classic cocktails (old fashioned, etc.) as well as some of their signature drinks (Kilt Lifter, yes please!). For a place that looks like a dive, nothing was watered down and the bartenders took care to muddle, shake, and flame glasses.
Lots of tables in a covered outdoor area (many with heaters) and a few tables inside.

Great neighborhood bar and grill with late night food and live bands. Entertainment includes live bands, outdoor patio seating, darts, a full bar and great service.

Great Bar, great service, great food, meatloaf is the best I’ve ever had, Scottish egg and the Korean cauliflower are awesome too! Patio is large and spacious with TVs! There is one side dedicated to smokers and it does happen to be at the top of the stairs so even if you smell smoke right Away don’t worry! Fresh air is right around the corner on the other side of the patio! As for those people leaving low review because of it” being dark/ needs decoration/ smells like smoke outside, the bartender didn’t take kindly my corny joke” YOU are the problem! This place breathes old Portland culture and is very authentic to the neighborhood! Great mix of all different types of people.

Solid pub with a friendly staff, video poker and a large covered outdoor patio. Normally solid pub food but tonight my dish was cold although it still had great flavor. Always a great random spot to check out.
