Caldera Public House - Portland - Photo album

One of our favorite places in Portland! Ask for the Dark Garnet in Spring. Ask for it "house style"-on the rocks, in Summer. And order the "Hot Darn-it" on a cold day!
Wonderful drinks and good food. The patio is beautiful and there is frequently live music. A neighborhood favorite.
Love this local place! Their burgers are consistently great and they have a decent selection of beer on tap. The patio out back is really lovely, but it is not dog-friendly. There is often live music here, it is typically folks just jamming together, which makes for a great vibe. This place is our n
Amazing atmosphere and it a nice area of town. Good prices. Okay service but I've only been there once so probably too early to tell on that one. They let us sample the beer before we purchased. I will certainly be going back. Update: Have since been many times. Always an evening off work type of v
I love the vintage casual atmosphere and that it's so close by. Great cocktails and pleasant service as always. New summer menu is very casual; I'm missing a couple of faves from the winter offerings. Love the patio at night but the neighbors have imposed quiet hours, so get there early if you wan
We came for the event space upstairs. Big enough for about 20 people, with comfortable seating. I found the acoustics to be inadequate though, the room was loud. The staff is friendly and they offer a varied drink menu. Reasonable prices. Good pub food. Great view from upstairs.
Lovely old-fashioned interior, good food. Was pretty quiet on a Saturday night, it seems like earlier in the evening are their busier times, so consider that if you're looking for a livelier night. Could see this being a good spot to become a regular.
Very good food, great cocktails. Place is cozy and cool, service is excellent. Casual folk music on Mondays. They have the Impossible Burger which is a huge selling point for me.
Man, this place is great. Historical - and the staff knows the stories - awesome selection of local beer, STELLAR FRIES, great patio... the marionberry BBQ burger was really tasty, as was the calamari. It's on our way home, I can see this becoming a regular spot.
Good beer, super chill and swanky atmosphere, and a back door patio section with a canopy of trees. Missing a star for one of the bartenders, she was a bit rude and rushed me more than once. The other bartender was as sweet as could be though
Went on Tuesday night when Irish music jam session was going on. With the music this cozy, warm venue feels like being transported to another time, aided by it's vintage decor and historic location. Food was great and the beer selection was good too.
Really good food, not your average pub quality. Seems like talent in the kitchen. Pleasing atmosphere, nice staff. Deck looks great, but it was closed for winter.
I really enjoyed my visit to Caldera Public house. I had the Bourbon BBQ Burger and I must say that it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I love the location next to Mt. Tabor. It is nice to have a place you can stop in for a pint and a meal after a long walk around Mt. Tabor Park.
Excellent and friendly service, good food and drink, cozy and inviting tavern feel with great music. When we visited there was a collective of very talented drop-in bluegrass musicians.
