La Bonita - Portland - Photo album

I surprised myself, easily polishing off this enormous entree and a generous margarita (made with a smile by the charming young man who took our order). The style and vibe remind me of the excellent Mexican restaurants thriving down in San Diego. The food was just as good as it looked. Highly recomm
Amazing Mexican restaurant! Food is incredibly tasty and non-pretentious, probably at the top of any Mexican restaurant that I have visited outside of Mexico. You enter, order at the front and wait for your food to be ready to pick it up at the same place you ordered. Has a salsa bar and all the sau
Decided to stop in to La Bonita, Alberta for a quick birthday meal for our good friend Brad. The wait was minimal and the front of the house folks were amazing. Our Margaritas and the Paloma were on point and went perfectly with our meal. Everything tasted amazing and there wasn’t a crumb left on
Food had great potential but fell just a little flat. The burrito was good, but you have to make sure you order it with the added stuff like sour cream. It would have been a little bland without added hot sauce. The breakfast chimichanga needed more meat and egg. It was flavorful but mostly filled w
The food was great! The tables and chairs/banquettes could use replacing. The service was just okay. We were asked to wait to order a few times even if the restaurant wasn't busy. I might just order online to go next time.
I had dinner at La Bonita for the first time this week. We ordered tamales. They did not disappoint!!! So...so good. The chips are salsa were fresh and delicious. Their customer service was on point!! We plan to have dinner there again when we're back in town next month. ¡Gracis La Bonita¡
La Bonita is the perfect little neighborhood burrito joint. Reasonably priced, and absurdly large burritos. Great for hangovers. Fairly busy lunch. Tacos are pretty solid as well. Lots of options on the menu. Colorful decor. Brightly painted walls. Amazing little place.
Great little Mexican place... Authentic taste.. Large portions... I had the tostada w/chicken. "BIG", Tasty, and flavorful.. My bf had the Chimichanga Again "BIG" And Tasty. The margarita was good. Can get busy, but worth the wait..
Food is generally good, but can be a little inconsistent, unfortunately. The burrito filling is often too heavy on the rice and not enough of the meat. Margaritas are certainly tasty. Avoid the side dining room by the bathrooms, it smells terrible! The bathroom cleaning products and other underlyin
Totally Authentic. Great food, service, and especially......attitude. Our first stop visiting from California. Creative and good/fancy Mexican drinks. 10 of us. They totally rocked it. Highly recommended.
Made a quick stop for a little snack during my walk. Had the fried fish taco. It was really good especially with the pickled veggies that comes with it. I'll be back!
Honestly some of the best service I had in years. The dude that looks like Chris Perez with short hair from the Selena movie. Helped me get my order right when I was about to mess it up. I know I got a good tostada because I can't see it!
Good potions, I had the chimichanga carnitas. Was delicious. Nice and bright on inside. Gf had the tostada, big portion & was delicious.
La Bonita is our fave neighborhood taqueria. Delicious tacos, tamales, rice, and guac. Sweet staff. Casual setting.
I had the garden burrito chimichanga. Very good. Only complaint is the sticky tables, which Ive noticed also at other places that have wooden tables...not sure if its due to the type of cleaning product they use, but it makes it feel unclean.
Luv this place. The food is authentic and delicious. Great spot in a great neighborhood. Their fish tacos are Da Bomb!
You absolutely must try the breakfast burritos! Huge, filling, hot, and delicious.
