I went here to get some fuel before getting a 5 hr tattoo down the street. I looked them up in advance and was really excited to go. when i got there, i was even more blown away. the prices were fantastic and when i saw my FOOD and the PORTION SIZE i was simply in heaven 😠the flavor of the food only made it better. so glad i found this place. it might be hard to tell in this photo, but those plates are huge. i truly did not think i was going to finish it all but best believe i found room

This is a great spot! I grew up in California and in always had "Super Burritos" at the taqueria's and ever since moving to Portland I have not really had a decent burrito.
This chicken burrito was very good, and comparable to someone I'd have in my hometown.
Prompt service, clean dining room and great atmosphere.

I grew up in SE Portland and often went to Pepinos as a kid, but I found that they dropped in quality around 5-10 years ago, and I stopped going.
However, they seem to have turned things around within the last couple years and offer a large and affordable menu, including a delicious vegan options! The veggies taste fresh, and the chips and salsa are amazing as always.

Very friendly staff when you first walk in, fresh salsa bar to cover your burrito, El cheapo is the best deal in town and it has no meat small amount of cheese, very tasty. Will come back again. Beer is served also and that is a plus. Chips were super fresh and so was the salsa.

I’ve been coming here for years and years, but their quality still remains top notch. For $9, I got this giant chicken burrito with a small side of tortilla chips. Can’t beat that!

Great vegetarian and vegan options! Love how fresh everything is. We’ll be back. Discovered them thanks to nacho week but loving their veggie bowl with pinto beans and their delicious fresh guac. They also have a salsa bar!

The best burrito in all Portland. Free chips with burritos and multiple free delicious salsas. I even accidentally grabbed a warm soda and they gave me a cold one without me asking.

The food was surprisingly delicious and the orders were freshly prepared quite fast for a group of six. The staff were just doing their job, not too warm but not cold either, lol. Given the chilly season I was longing for a hot drink but they have none on the menu, so I made do with Sprite. Nice place overall, I'll definitely come back with my friends.

This is one of my favorite burritos from Pepino’s it’s the Surfo Turfo Burrito. It has meat, Shrimp, rice, beans and cheese. It comes with sweet tequila sauce but I like mine without. If you are ever close by you need to try this one. It’s delicious 😋

Chipotle Potato Burrito add Chicken. The Smokey salsa rules! Lime up those chips and you win :) Breakfast Burrito is great and fairly priced. Not a lot of PDX Mexican restaurants give you free chips anymore so they’ve always been a regular spot for me.

Pepino's is great. This is a humble, straightforward taqueria that has something for everyone. They manage to put out a consistently good product, for a **very reasonable price**. I can't stress that enough. To get a decent, filling breakfast burrito in 2022 for under $10 is a rare event, but one which occurs at Pepino's daily. I'll be back!

This place never disappoints, I love getting the nachos and they’re sooo filling, they don’t skimp on ingredients and the beef is always good so good. My husband always gets the chicken and loves it as well!

The only negative thing I have to say about my experience here is that I wish my dish had been a bit hotter. I ordered the Baja chicken bowl and one Baja fish taco and a few bites of my chicken were slightly cold and the bowl itself was only warm, not hot. The flavor was definitely there, the salsas were delicious and the staff was helpful and made our food in a timely manner. Had my food been just a bit warmer I would have given it that last star. Still recommend this place!

Cozy little place with great food!! They have a whole vegan menu which I really appreciate. I got the vegan veggie burrito and I loved it! I typically am not a fan of burritos or squash/zucchini but this burrito was perfect. The chips were also the perfect amount of salty! And the price point was great. It just seemed a like the tables needed a little extra cleaning.
