My favorite place ever!!! First of all mango margaritas! Enough said! Tastiest things ever! I'm addicted. Also all their food tastes so fresh! Freshest Mexican food I've ever experienced. Amazing happy hour as well. All the people that work there are amazing and make you feel welcomed. Such a great vibe!

Great food, great people, convivial when time allows. The food is prepared to order, and the service is personal (and yes, because "personal" doesn't mean a cast of thousands à la Denny's, the wait will be reasonably dependent on the work load). But hey, the food is Mexico-authentic (as opposed to tourist-authentic), and VERY tasty. I've heard table and counter neighbors praise the margueritas, but I don't drink mixed drinks, so can't offer more than that. The prices are appropriate for what you get: Fonda Rosa's food is well above the level of everyday Mexican fare.

The staff was very friendly. We were greeted as soon as we entered by the hostess and the woman behind the bar flashed us a smile. The restaurant is quite small so the fit was a bit tight. Eavesdropping on people around you was inevitable. Service was a bit slower than I expected for the Chips & Salsa which were good. My main dish the Carne Asada Arrachera was good. I would come back again for a complete dining experience but not as a regular go-to for Mexican food.

Absolutely delicious and beautiful food! Great atmosphere and great service. Was in town visiting family and was told we had to visit this place and so glad I did. Great margaritas as well. I even found myself recommending it to people about to come in as I was leaving.

Margarita was very tasty. Carne asada was perfectly tender. Halibut tacos were lightly breaded and delicious. Salsa was excellent and chips were terrific. Overall excellent Mexican food from someone who is usually disappointed in Portland.

My friend and I had a delightful dinner at Fonda Rosa last Saturday. The crab on the tacos was fresh, if not abundant. My halibut fish tacos were wonderful. Service was good.

Delicious authentic Mexican food, with lots of Pacific seafood items included. Perfect ceviche, house-made chips and guac, enchiladas, steak, salmon, halibut, etc, and great margaritas. Get the spicy margarita (not on the menu but available if you ask)!

Really Cool Mexican Joint. Small but cozy Mexican restaurant with good food presented with style and fineness. The chips are home made, the salsa is decent and guacamole is fresh. The magaritras are nice. The spicey marionberry is really good.

Happy hour! I've only been once but I liked the selection of food and drink items. The price was right and everything was tasty. It's a tiny place so seating can fill up.

I love Mexican food. And this place is one of my favorites. It takes a little time, due to the fact that everything is made to order, but worth the wait in gold

Great and wonderful little jewel! Thanks for serving organic food! Loved the homemade tortilla chips.
