The Clearing Cafe - Portland - Photo album

Great place to stop for a warm beverage, sandwich, pastry or bowl of soup after hitting the trails. Good vegetarian soup, nice large bowl with some toast. Nice atmosphere, and no judgement for coming in dirty after a nice time in the muddy trails of forest park!
Good prices, conveniently located near a great hiking trail in Forest Park. Classic coffee house/cafe. They have vegetarian options, and the food is actually very good and healthy. Recommended.
OMG ! THE MOST AMAZING place, atmosphere is fantastic. Stumbled across while out walking my dog, exploring the neighborhood. The owner, Isiah is friendly and welcoming, I wanted to stay all day! Make the BEST coffee, bagels, creame cheese and Lox I've EVER had
Good coffee (not excessively sour or bitter) and decent prices. Quirky atmosphere, very close to being excellent. The plants are all fake though. Off the beaten path, and quiet on weekdays.
I really liked the chill vibe of this coffeehouse and the food and cappuccinos were great. The reason I go to new coffeehouses all the time is for the experience and that's what lacked here. The staff was not very engaging. When I asked what was good, the response I got was "coffee." I was looking f
Small, cute little cafe. Located off the beaten path of NW. Free street parking. First time in, stopped just for a coffee but the food looked delicious. Friendly staff, good coffee. Nice outdoor seating, small indoor seating area but tables are spaced appropriately. I'll visit again and maybe brin
Lovely and distinctly dark chocolate mocha. Cute place!
Great local coffee shop. I’ve been coming here for 5 years pretty regularly. Highlights include the breakfast bagel sandwich with avocado and the bean bowl.
Their breakfast burrito is so good, warm and delicious, just perfect after a trail run in Forest Park, which is only a few blocks away. I also had a Turkey sandwich and definitely got full and satisfied. No dining in at the moment but there are three tables outside on the sidewalk.
I had a Cardomom with Honey Latte and it was D-lish. I didn't buy food or snacks. The location is tucked nicely in a quiet neighborhood.
This is the place to go for incredible food. Really good coffee and the service is wonderful. I’ve gone here with friends and try to bring any out-of-town friends to this café. It’s in a quiet part of the neighborhood and it’s fun to walk around and look at the homes nearby. Seating is comfortable.
I spend every Saturday morning here and I see the same people every week coming into the shop. The staff know their customers by name and unless they are slammed, you can always count on being greeted with a smile! I love the rice and beans bowl. The soups are always amazing! Kelley makes the mo
Great rich latte with just the right thickness of foam! Breakfast bagel sandwich was light but filling and full of flavor! Definitely recommend!
Great cafe, frequented by runners and cyclists on the weekend mornings. There isn't a better place to go after a run in Forest Park near this entrance. The cafe has hearty food and delicious coffee.
