Sizzle Pie - Portland - Photo album

No organic options, so only 4-stars. Pretty good local pizzeria with classic favorites and nee combos. It’s nice to have options by the slice. It’s a shame they’re only in Portland - this location on Burnside is in the middle of the homeless/druggie disaster area. The staff is nice enough, but of
I love this place. Ordered was the regular cheese slice, pepperoni slice, a white slice and garlic knots. Also ordered was a Avid- pineapple mango cider. Everything was delicious. The pizza was thin and crispy. The white slice was a little thicker for it's toppings. It was good. The only thing I was
ya know, this was my first taste of west coast pizza (I’m from Chicago) and so the expectations were in the ground. I came randomly, but left pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the slices were kinda expensive (I thought a lot of things were in Portland, though). But the pizza was pretty da
Very unassuming place but their pizza was awesome! They do a thinner almost NY style of pizza that are huge. Plenty of options to choose from if you want a reasonably priced slice of cheesy goodness.
I went with my vegan friend so I only tried the vegan options. The Grazing Arizona was super super delicious. I loved the flavor of the tofu scramble. The Steve Caballero was okay. Nothing really stood out about. The Spiral Tap was my least favorite. It tastes like watered down tomatoes and spices
Nice pizza by the slice joint. Like others I find the service could be improved as it’s a bit rough around the edges, staff don’t seem overly happy and the dining room didn’t seem to be attended to.
Pizza was amazing! Super thin and crunchy! So tasty and definitely value for money. Quite a nice ambience, dinner style with great music. Staff were super friendly, greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and very upbeat and happy to serve us!
I love Sizzle Pie and they’re consistent across locations. Kind of like a tidied-up punk rock aesthetic, ha. Employees have always been easy-going and friendly, rotating specialty pies are always unique and tasty, and the flagship flavors are rad. Always good stuff on tap and a good variety of beer,
I love this place so so so much. This might be my favorite pizza place on the west coast. No I'm not kidding. Get a half slice of vegan-friendly pizza while Slayer is playing in the restaurant and then go to Powells and buy way too many books. What more could you want?
First off sorry for the bad pictures 😅 I was limited on time to take these. Anyways onto the food review. The pepperoni pizza was reallyyy good but it was way too greasy. The peperoni was good nice and crispy, perfectly thin dough, soft and not too oily crust. For the pizza in the 2nd picture we got
By far the best pizza place in Portland. The pizza is hot, and fresh. Always great ingredients. Super friendly and fast staff. Always an inviting place to pickup or, eat in. They also have an outside patio, which I personally prefer. Beer on tap and in can. A soda fountain with JONES soda, literally
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars for the food is because 🪰 get in the case too much. The food is good and the rest of the restaurant is (mostly) clean so if you get a whole pie you’re safe. But that slice box tho :( I’ve seen the same fly in there at least the last 5 days I’ve door dashed I’m wo
Obviously with the location comes a busy eatery. We ordered a whole pie and some other items, and were told it would be about 20 minutes. After about 30 I went up and asked about the order and the gal apologized and said they're a little behind. I waited up front for another 25 minutes where they c
Pizza to die for, and I don't normally like pizza. It probably helped that we didn't eat lunch until 3, so I was starving. The crust was fantastic, crispy and chewy outside, fluffy inside. Unique place with great pizza topping combos to select what slices you want. Big slices too! Bathroom was gross
My friend and I were downtown to watch a movie at the Living Room theater, which is surprisingly right next to this pizza spot. We had some time so I was like let's get some pizza 🍕 before we watch the new Nicolas Cage western The Old Way. We walked over to Sizzle Pie to get a quick bite. The first
This basin/faucet combo is so ubiquitous around Portland that I’m going to have to refer to it as the PDX Special. And it is ubiquitous for good reason. When installed at Tye correct height this is one of the friendliest sinks in which to pee and give your bird a little bath. Also, bonus points for
