New Deal Cafe - Portland - Photo album

Very neat and fun brunch spot. The scrambles all look so good and the Mediterranean Scramble was delicious. Also tried the Bacon Latte, which was a tasty and interesting drink - almost like a buttery latte, sweeter than a usual latte but also savory flavor.
Lived in Portland for nearly a decade and finally checked out The New Deal Cafe. WOW! This place is amazing. For real: the food, the coffee, the vibes- all excellent. And the people working here were all super friendly and welcoming in the most genuine way. Not to mention, it was very easy to find p

Great food for breakfast! Order at the counter, where there is a big menu. I got a scramble of the day, which had onions, peppers, mushrooms, (veggie) sausage, and sundried tomato pesto. I got a side of potatoes and a biscuit, which were very well done. My accomplice got biscuits and gravy and compl
Awesome food and great staff! 100% recommend to anyone in NE portland!
Lovely little breakfast/lunch, Cafe. The food was good quality and well presented. The coffee Stumptown had to purchase but was serve yourself, which I love. They also had espresso drinks, my daughter (happy birthday petal) had one, and I was very happy with it. I would highly recommend this place!
This pace! Sooooo good! They have my absolute favorite biscuits and gravy! Everything is fantastic. The pancakes are the size of my head - the kids love those . Best of all, they have a play area for kids !
What a gem tucked away in this tight little neighborhood. The food is outstanding and it's such a nice spacious, light and clean spot. Everyone working there was in such a great mood, super happy to help, just really makes your day being surrounded by happy folks. Seems like a fun place to work.
Breakfast had 3 requirements: big ol’ portions, open by 8:30, and transit-friendly near Gateway Transit Center. Got the nutritious and filling breakfast I needed to fuel a day at Multnomah Falls. Thank you so much for the delicious special scramble and the electric macchiato. Everything I needed and
Our first time eating here and we ordered breakfast, we both ordered the sausage scramble, potatoes, and biscuit and coffee. The food was delicious and the coffee was extraordinary. We will definitely be eating here again.
solid portions and great food! the fried egg breakfast sandwich is the most perfect breakfast to eat if you have time to take a nap after. their strawberry jam comes in squeeze bottles and I've literally just ordered a single biscuit here before so I could use their jam. it's so good. good coffee, p
Love this place! Classic american breakfast and lunch with good coffee. Lots of seating and chill atmosphere, and good prices
Really cozy. Enjoyed the breakfast burrito with veggie sausage and the French toast a lot. Love the casual counter service and the friendly neighborhood vibe.
Very nice people, long time to order but then food came quickly. Scrambled eggs were too wet, not enough butter with toast and only one sausage link. Mimosa was good and huge! Very nice pitdoor seating areas with several coverrs options. Metal tables so no splinters ! Overhead heaters if too cold. E
Great vibe, good prices... Nice self- serve cafe with lots of seating. Friendly service makes it even better. 1 free refill on coffee is just a cherry on top. Lots of places to plug in and work. Decent wi- fi but it slows considerable during rush hours. Will definitely be back for those chicken appl
I had a delicious latte here and the Mediterranean omelette was large and worth the $$. Busy on a Sunday morning but the friendly baristas kept the line moving. Would return just for the coffee
