Great german waffles and an amazing ambience and experience! Great service and great food! Absolutely recommend this to any friends visiting and looking for breakfast!
You have to wait a little to get in but worth the wait. Food is perfect and you can have coffee while you wait. One of my favorite spots when I’m in PDX

Really enjoyed my Savory German Pancake called "The Count". The coffee was also excellent and my cup was continuously refilled. We had to wait for a table but it was Saturday morning. Our server was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will return because I must try a sweet German Pancake like Pear and Brie.
This is my favorite breakfast spot. It might be because my mother was dutch German and made the big eggy type of pancakes that they specialize in here. I often feel like their bacon apple pancakes should be illegal, they are so good. Nice tiled interior with cloth-like tablecloths.
Not usually a breakfast person, but glad I was this day. Couldnt decide between something savory or sweet, everything sounded so good. Ended up with the heuvos rancheros christmas style, and a side of chorizo. One of the best things Ive eaten EVER. We live 5 hours away and I am already looking forward to driving back for this place again. I am a breakfast person now, as long as its a Sanborn's breakfast :)
We ate here for the first time today and i have to say it was well worth it.. Very nice helpful and attentive staff, clean nice atmosphere and really tasty food. The mango German pancake was awesome!!! Even our picky eater of a daughter loved her food!!!

Top notch breakfast spot. I'm a big fan of the German pancakes, a unique menu item I haven't seen around Portland that much. Service is friendly and fairly quick, although they get really busy on the weekends.
The best Huevos Rancheros & Blueberry Pancakes. If you go you must try both their Huevos Rancheros and their Blueberry Pancakes. They are to die for! This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot! It's cozy and comfortable, kid friendly and the service is exceptional.
