Nola Doughnuts - Portland - Photo album

Lets start off with their infamous La ssant's, they're reallyy delicious and I can see why many people enjoy them. It was nice and warm freshly baked, the cream on top had great flavor, and soft dough however for me the only thing I didnt like was how watery the creme was and how oily the doughnut w
A different take on a donut that is more like a croissant mix. Comes in different icing flavors (I chose vanilla). The donut is super tasty and you get that nostalgic deep fried donut taste in your mouth. Because it's like a croissant, it is also very flaky and airy. Was very yummy! The inside of N
Get the la’sants - they are amazing! Think croissant meets donut with a slightly crispy exterior and delectably soft interior. We were on vacation on a mission to try different Portland donuts each day - however this required a second visit. We tried s’mores, orange creamsicle, and lemon basil. We
I’ve lived downtown for 10 years and finally went in the other day for the first time. I don’t know why it took me so long. Very cool looking inside, for some reason I thought it was a tiny place with about four tables but I was wrong. I’ll go back. A nice place for a bit of a respite although the m
Tried the lemon poppyseed la'ssant. It's kind of its own thing rather than a donut. Don't expect a doughy donut. It was fine. Also the most expensive 'donut' I've tried in Portland. There is plenty of seating at this location and the atmosphere leans into the New Orleans vibe.
My first beigneits! Simple & delicious! Make sure you eat them fresh and hot - they will not be good later. Also had the lavender oat la'assant, which was delicate and delightful. Perfect amount of lavender without it coming across soapy and the oat accompanying nicely. Will be back soon to try mo
Remarkably flavorful donuts. We had the lemon poppy. Lots of lemon zest give it flavor. Quite sweet but not overpoweringly so. Came back a second time with friends. Did not disappoint.
Really nice staff. Super helpful and sweet. The place is decorated really cute. The donuts are good, they are different than your normal flavors. Really delicious. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they are super oily. I wouldn't buy as many as I did. The oil sort of took away from the
Portland is doughnut city, no doubts about that, so you gotta do something special to stand out. NOLA doughnuts really stands out in the Pearl district in Portland, their doughnuts always seem to be freshly prepared, as if they are made to order, the flavours are really exciting, and every week ther
Wanted something different from Voodoo to try, and they didn’t disappoint! I like the flaky texture and the stuffed donuts were delightful. Highly recommend checking them out. The store inside felt whimsical! I wasn’t expecting a piece of NOLA in Portland haha
I’ve been wanted to try New Orleans beignets for so long. Lucky to find it here in Portland! Loved the Orange Grapefruit flavor the most! The Lemon Poppyseed is great too!
Strolling the Pearl district looking for a coffee and bite and fell upon this place - WOW. Doughnuts are phenomenal (don't miss the apple fritter) and the coffee first-rate. (In N.O. style they also offer coffee with chicory and cafe au lait.) Didn't get to try the beignets but will be back.
Nola doughnuts is such a cute and unique place! We must of come at an off time because they didn't have a great selection but we still liked what we got 👍 they a few seating options if you wanted to stay and eat your donuts. A great location and wasn't hard to find which was nice. I took my family a
Never tried a croissant style donut before but they are flaky and delicious! Expensive though - between $3-5 a piece. Unfortunately I also got there right as they opened and they were a bit unprepared so they didn’t have any beignets available. That, plus the luke warm coffee made it a 4 star experi
The donut was good, but the price is sort of high. The texture was like a crunch and crispy on the outer layer but creaming and rich in the inner.
Needed a sweet tooth binge so walked over to this doughnut shop. Ordered the Boston Cream Pie, Lemon Poppyseed, and Touch of Honey. Received a S'mores instead of the Boston Cream Pie, and the lady kindly corrected the order. These La'ssants were perfect. Flaky and chewy interior with a slight ex
These donuts taste way better than they look—and they look good. I was totally surprised. I tried the sticky oat la’ssant which was super flakey and crisp and fluffy, it blew me away. The beignets with marionberry sauce are a must if you’re an Oregonian with a soft spot for marionberries like me.
I absolutely love their delicious products. Their doightnuys are so soft and flavorful, and then their la'ssants are to die for. My favorite is the raspberry, so far. I just recently treated myself to NOLA after getting my first covid vaccine dose! Yay! I would highly recommend to anyone in the area
Great little New Orleans style donut place. We tried a few different kinds and they are really really good. They are between $3-$5 a piece for a bit bigger than a standard donut elsewhere. We go to the bookstore across the street every month or so. I know this will always be somewhere we run int
