OMG the food was awesome, I have never had Ratatouille and it was out of this world. The sole was fantastic, the lemon tart and rice pudding were phenominal. They served a potato soup little cup with warm bread that was totally good. The Escargot was the best I have ever had. This is a place we wil
Soooooo good! Been wanting to come here for so long - finally worked out. Everything was excellent. The complimentary soup and bread to start were super tasty. The bread and butter had just a little saltiness that I loved. The onion soup was delicious. The thyme crouton inside gave amazing flavo
I live and work in the neighborhood and pass by this place a few times each day. I don't know why I didn't try it sooner?! Everything far exceeded ALL of my expectations, across two visits. That's near impossible in my book. We started off with Brunch on a Sunday. We ordered the Warm Chouquettes, t
Probably going to be one of our favorite spots for fancy dinners such as anniversaries. Great service, great venue, intimate and quiet. Great wine selection and food is amazing. If you want to do this place right, be ready to spend about 100 per person.
French bistro but there are a lot of very non-french menu items like hamburgers and fries (though both items were delicious). The food is good and presented well. Had the french toast but I recommend splitting it or eating or for dessert because it is very rich and sweet.
As a visitor to Portland, we debated which restaurant we wanted to try for Sunday brunch as hadn't been disappointed in any meal thus far. We chose Bistro Agnes and were very happy. I won't give them credit for the gorgeous weather and people watching. But will give them credit for everything else.
Consistently great where everything on the plate is delicious. Been through a lot of the menu and from lighter items like the Salad Nicoise to the heavier french classics and you can't go wrong. The absinthe menu is also worth a try for the more adventurous. Cozy upscale french bistro setting.
My wife and I dropped by without a reservation and were seated at the bar. The bartender Beau(or Bo) and he was the one serving us the evening. He started by taking our drinks order, and always made sure our glasses were filled or if we needed more drinks. I did request a custom shot, which he delig
Just wonderful...we had the beef short rib bourguignon and the coq au Vin. The portions were very generous and so tasty. The malted chocolate mousse is definitely enough for two.
My wife and I ate dinner at Bistro Agnes on their first Friday night. We're really happy that there's a real French restaurant nearby. The food, wine and service all exceeded our expectations. Great French food without being fluffy.
OMG. So good. I had the Croque Madame, which is amazing. The tomato makes it, & I don't generally like tomato slices on a sandwich. Two others had the Croque Monsieur, which was also delicious. The Oeufs en Meurette was ridiculously good. Drinks were also incredible.
Went to a couple of brunch spots but they were too full for any more reservations so we came to Agnes... And the food was amazing. Will definitely be a first stop from here on out!!
This place is hands down the best french cusine in the city! I wasn't expecting such great food and as a result I ended up eating way too much of it, I just couldn't stop myself it was way way too good to leave any left over. Nevermind the service they could have slapped me in the face for as good a
Found myself dining solo at the end of a business trip and went in search of a French bistro. This hit the spot. Ate at a high top in the bar and had a great meal with wonderful, friendly service. The seasonal nicoise salad was sensational. Definitely returning, wife in tow. Merveilleux!
Delicious food! I love that they don’t put a lot of salt to their dishes. Friendly service. Try Salmon rosti and Pain perdu.
Nice date night place with candlelit dinner. Super delicious food and amazing whiskey sours cocktails and wine! Try the beet salad and muscles.
Amazing food. Great spot for brunch. We ended up here because of the long wait across the road, but so glad we did. The food was amazing.
Had the beef rib boulignon and another chicken dish. The beef was spectacular. Melted in the mouth. The gravy was rich and balanced and so tasty. The food is expensive but definitely worth it The staff are extremely kind and friendly. Decor can do a bit of work.. The chairs and candle light on the t
