Authentic and flavorful. We came on Thanksgiving night and was thankful that this place was open. I like the wonton soup because it has the exact same flavor as I had it in Hong Kong. The 脆皮烧猪 turned cold a little so I hope they can improve on that.
The food was AMAZING! The menu is extensive, the hospitality warm and welcoming. Wish I had a restaurant like this near me, but I can only dream of one while outside of Portland.
I absolutely enjoyed the food. Got a whole Roast Duck, bokchoy in garlic, ginger sauce, Chinese broccoli in Oyster Sauce, Vegetable Fried rice and Duck, noodle soup. They actually give you the whole duck at this establishment. I recommend this Restaurant.
The food was *amazing* and we didn't realize that they were not open for dining. They allowed us to order there, and we waited outside in the cafe area. The food was so tasty hot and immediately when we got it. It was also great later (and a lot of chinese food is not!) Great sesame chicken and beef
Love this place, an old Portland Gem! One of the best Wonton Soups 🍲. Great BBQ pork and whole Peking duck made in house daily. Let’s keep this place open!

This is one of those authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurants in a sketchy place. I recently moved from Hawaii and I've been looking for a place that makes good noodles and jook. And I'm happy to say that I found my replacement.

This is my favorite spot for chinese food in Portland. Everything featuring egg noodles ia fantastic, and especially the steamed chicken (with ginger/green onion), roast pork (so crispy!), and duck. Take out only during the pandemic.
Great Cantonese style BBQ! Honey BBQ pork（蜜汁烧腊）is hands down the best I had in a long while - very crispy and flavorful while not too sweet.
Wish I had listened and tried this place sooner. A gem in old town/Chinatown. In-house roast duck and pork is worth the visit alone.
Right by my work, so it's convenient. I've only had their wonton and BBQ pork soup but it was really tasty and filling. I stopped in mostly because there was a bunch of meat hanging and a dude chopping it up with a cleaver right in the front window. How do you day no to that?

I love Chen's and the people that work there and saw the temporarily closed info here on Google and discovered they are just renovating. They are one of the last hold outs in Old Town and wish for them a speedy re-opening.
Food was top notch! Chow mein and super bowl are definitely recommended. Bathrooms were in a bit of a weird place, but that didn't bother one bit since the food was all I could think about. Will absolutely be going back next time I visit Portland!
Fast service, portions are generous and even though the atmosphere is nothing special (esp. by American standards) it's a great place for Cantonese fare.
