For starters, I'm gluten free. This is the best pizza spot I've found. I like pizzacato but this, this is down to earth, grandma made with love kind of pizza. Its obvious that great ingredients are hand selected to make great pizza. You know when you order from other places and more than half the pizza is cheese? Not here! And its so good. We'll definitely be back in the very near future.

Ordered a custom pizza with pepperoni, salami, and mushrooms. This thing was massive! Fed both my wife and I by a few days.
The pizza came out piping hot and was great as cold pizza. Highly recommend a visit to this very unique place with a friendly staff.

This place is awesome and their pizza is like no other pizza place. If you like toppings your gonna love this place and it's family friendly with a small game room for kids. I'm editing my post. Ever since COVID prices went up and quality of food went down. Not Flying pie Pizza, there quality and serving size remained the same. They have the best Italian sausage I have ever had on a pizza. I just got one tonight: double pepperoni,American bacon and Italian sausage with garlic and Italian seasoning. No other place in the state of Oregon is as good as these guys. You want real pizza and real toppings, you wanna come here. I bet my life on it, it will be the best you ever had. I got the one on stark in Portland. You gotta try!!!!!

Fat slice. Just look at it. If you’re reading this trying to decide where to get pizza for lunch or dinner look no further. Pizza has that nice, thick crunchy crust, perfect cheese to sauce ratio and fresh tasty toppings. Paired it with the Boneyard IPA which couldn’t have been more refreshing. I’ll be back. This place is for serious PDX pizza eaters.

We meet here every year for my uncles birthday, it's his favorite place & he loves the Mrs Piggy pizza pie. My hubby & I favor the Guido sandwich.

Pizza has always been the best in town great crust even better toppings and sauce has a spicy taste too it not too hot just right. Service is friendly and quick. They get your order finished exactly when they say it will be done. The atmosphere is a little outdated in my opinion. Just a suggestion for the business is put in some extra overhead lights and mabey a pool table or darts, something interactive. I think that would bring more attention to in house dining. Thanks for reading.

Best pizza hands down!!! After I picked it up from the counter and brought it to the table,it literally weighed 6 pounds. The toppings they put on their pizza is downright amazing and so delicious. If your in the Portland area, you have to come to this nostalgic pizzeria, it will bring you back to the good old days when pizza was actually a pizza. Freshly hand tossed dough and the best of toppings. The wait is worth it while you sit at your table waiting for your name to be called. Go check it out. I will be back!!

There are so many choices for Pizza in Portland but one I enjoy a lot is Flying Pie and have come here many times over my decades in PDX. This place must have hired an engineer to design the crusts load factor for the amount of toppings you can have on a pizza. Very Filling and great flavor I especially like the sausage. Counter service for dine in and take out and you can miss your shoutout if not keeping track. Make your way here for old school Pies heaped high.

Staff was great, atmosphere was great, food was AMAZING! I didn't personally order the pizza that we ate, so I'm not sure EXACTLY what it was, but I know it had sausage and mushrooms... and QUITE the plentiful amount of both!!... bordering ridiculous! Lol! It's probably the best overall pizza that money can buy, honestly. The only negative I have, is that I ate so much pizza (and that's only 2 slices!) I had insane heartburn... but that's a ME problem, not a flying pie problem! Lol! Bon Appétit! Sik

Excellent pizza, a lot of toppings. Very busy, but well managed.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! The pizza is amazing. You need a knife and fork to eat a slice! I go 1 to 2 times a week! It costs a little more, but trust me, it's TOTALLY worth it. The people are awesome!. You get to watch them make it from scratch. I can't say enough good things about this place!

1 person complained about to much topping!! One of the reasons on maps that I decided to stop by!!! That person need to consider asking for a smaller amount, or go to frozen food section a local grocery store!!! Great deal normally I finish half of an 18 in pizza,,, here I finished 3 slices 😀!!! Now have 2 more meals... 🤭😊🥰🤤

The food was quite excellent and I must say their dough is really delicious. The service was good up until my partner and I were sitting outside and we both watched as an employee walked by and just didn’t say anything at all…. Then went back inside. But he was young so maybe they don’t teach good manners there not sure. The atmosphere was great if you’re into antique and late 90’s early 2000’s vibe. We will be going back! We just hope the people seem happier next time!

One night last week we went to Flying Pie to pick up a pizza we had phoned in - it was just before closing time, and they had cleaned their kitchen already, getting ready to lock the place up. We realized we had accidentally ordered a pizza from Flying Pie in Issaquah, WA! Joe made us a pizza on the spot once he saw what had happened, and it was excellent. This is incredible customer service. :)

An underrated Portland staple. I’ve been getting pizza here for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed. The best watt to describe their pizza style is thick: not Detroit-style, but they load the toppings in a way that defies physics.

Best Pizza within 300 miles or more. Very nice staff!
