We hadn't heard of this place before stopping in, but it was hot and we were hungry. SO WORTH THE STOP.
We had a Cuban Sandwich with Fried Plantains, and a child's size Guava Chicken Plate and Yucca. The child's size option was great because it was still plenty of food, but $6 cheaper.

About twice a year, I hook up with some ex-coworkers to catch up on how everyone is doing and try a new dining venues. This time we tried Cubo and we were all happy with our decision.
I would have given a full 5 stars, but we had a good 20 minutes wait to order because of their set up for ordering,

I actually went to the one on Mississippi today for the first time. It was amazing! We had the Cuban Sandwiches and they were outstanding! Fresh, tasty, authentic. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. I will go again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
For a nice lunch spot, this Cuban place is amazing. For bowls, sandwiches, and platters under $20 you will definitely be satisfied. The Cuban sandwich with tostones was delicious.

Really cozy warm space with a relaxed atmosphere. Food is very good, fresh and hot. Could have used a bit more salt but other than that it was perfect. Can't wait to try their new spot on Mississippi!

WOW! Finally made it to Cubo! I'm only sad that I didn't go sooner. Every bite was perfect! Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Portland.
