Miss Delta - Portland - Photo album

Visiting Portland for a conference and decided to stop by a popular, recommended spot. When I got there, the wait was 45-50 min for my 1 seat and I decided to look across the street and saw MISS DELTA! Thank Goodness!! The service was excellent, the vibe was dope, the game was on and everyone was ch
Amazing food! They have amazing bbq but don’t miss out on the sides! The Mac n cheese is rich, cheesy, and made to order. A MUST TRY PLACE!!
I was searching for a great Carolina style pulled pork sandwich, and it is here! It was the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had! It is very flavorful and packs a punch with the string vinegary sauce. I will definitely be back, and will spread the word to my friends.
Recommend by a friend so we thought we'd try it out. Not too bad. Portions were huge. Beer was good. For a non NOLA po' boy it was descent. The shrimp and grits was spicy and good too.
Was visiting from Canada this weekend and stopped by Miss Deltas for brunch. Had the country fried chicken and grits for the first time. The fried chicken is probably some of the best I've ever had and the gravy was delicious. Kind customer service and large portions.
Great menu options. Food was on par. Pecan pie was devine. Hush puppies were to die for. Chicken and waffles ooh lala. BBQ sauce served with meats was really really good. We enjoyed the catfish, Ribs, and Brisket. Shrimp and grits were delicious. The greens were tasty. Restaurant has a "down south"
Fried okra is not easy to find in Portland but Miss Delta has it and it is quite good. It is an appetizer, rather than a side dish, but good nonetheless. Chicken (country) fried steak is a cut above any other you'll find in Portland, too. Red beans and rice can be had with pulled pork on top and it
Miss Delta is a Jewel tucked away in a historically Black community in Portland. We enjoyed great conversation and excellent conversation. Guess service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Miss Delta, thanks for taking such good care of my group.
This place is the business, from the warm welcome upon entering, the bartender was so kind and friendly he made us feel right at home. I would highly suggest this restaurant to anyone visiting Mississippi Street for the first time. The food was favorable! Miss Delta's owes me nothing!!
Catfish po boy, greens and Mac n cheese a hit!. I will be back AGAIN!!! next time I'm in the city. The cook was very nice and the bartender made the best drinks like omg I was lit off the long islands.
Only had two things off the menu so far and both were amazing. Biscuits and gravy Chicken and waffles Be warned you get their home made sweet tea you are getting legit south sweet tea, forgot what real sweet tea taste like! Great food, great service, and both times we have gone wait times were min
Perfect brunch and a menu you can't go wrong with! Amazing service, tender BBQ and the coziest of vibes. Biggest portions are served as the sandwich but a plate with extra meat served me more than well. 10/10 all times I've been!
Well the service was great enjoyed the food to a point now the chick kinda tasted burnt and way too much flour used to cook the chicken! The mac’n’cheese ya pass wasn’t good at all the cheese on top made it cold! The mash ya gravy wasn’t hitting right! The shrimp wasn’t fried like I thought but
This was such a nice surprise of a place! The food was soooo good! All the staff was so attentive and friendly and you could tell they LIKED being there! Plus the place itself was so cool and the art was fantastic! Gave us great things to talk about during our meal. Can't wait to return. This is a n
Absolutely incredible—the staff felt so familiar, like I knew them already. FINALLY a spot with real sweet tea! I was looking for food similar to what I had at Hattie's in Nashville, and while the chicken breading was a different style, everything was stupid good. From the cornbread to the collard
I speak as a southerner born and raised that Miss Delta nails southern cooking. Bear in mind that there is quite the variety in southern cooking. That being said Miss Delta is good at southern cooking through and through. The portions are big southern portions and the price while not cheap are reaso
So glad to discover Miss Delta's! I really enjoyed the down-home goodness of the food and wonderful service. We ordered the meat plus three (burnt ends, brisket, and blackened chicken) which came with 2 sides (We chose collared greens along with red beans and rice). My compatriots ordered pulled por
