Got takeout for Christmas Eve this year and it was sooo busy, wish they had a better system for massive amounts of takeout orders. But the food still tasted amazing 🙌 Their sizzling rice soup always hits the spot. And their potstickers are really massive and a bit doughy, delicious flavor.

I've seen this place get VERY busy for the holidays with hostile and rude guests but this establishment still gives the best service and redeems themselves as a business that always pushes to impress. They don't turn service down to anyone and provides versatile cuisine for all diets including vegan food. Thank you for being open when the community leans on you the most. The food is always worth the wait :)

There are some real winners on this menu combine traditional and American styles Chinese food. The dry fry wings are incredible! Other highlights for us are the Shandong Beef and dumplings. The dumplings were so good we ate them before we could take a picture. Service is quick, plenty of beers available. This is a repeat visit spot for us

Pretty good overall. Food was fresh and hot. The soup dumplings were very tasty and fresh. The southern style fried rice tasty as well. It was nice you could choose between soy sauce based or sea salt seasoned fried rice. I think that's a unique option to offer. Lemon chicken was ok not my favorite but decent overall. Restaurant was very clean with was nice to see. Definitely will be back to try more items.

Good location with ample parking. The place is clean and the food made with care with and a flavor-style that tastes truly homemade. All dishes had distinctive flavors and the presentation was straight forward. I did not taste MSG. Service was attentive and the bar nicely stocked. Pricing is fair and quality very good. I will certainly be back for more.

It has been a few years since I eaten at Shandong. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was as good as I remembered it. Prices are still reasonable and service is decent. Both the pork belly fried rice and the chicken noodle soup were delicious. The fried rice had a decent amount of pork fried with a few veggies and a bit of egg. The .noodle soup was filled with home made noodles and had shitake caps , chicken and a few veggies in it as well. We ended up taking about half of the portion home. Recommended

Portion sizes are rather small compared to the price. Tried doing family style ordering 4 dishes for 3 but it wasn't enough sadly. Also the restaurant was freezing employees shouldn't have to wear beanies and multiple sweaters to work.

The food here is excellent. Cherry pork is my favorite ! The staff is often very busy with take out orders. They will come over if you give them a friendly wave.

Had the Ma Po Tofu, seen below. Sauce tasted good. A tad spicy but not much. I would have preferred more veggies in place of rice but that’s just me and most people probably want the rice (there were delicious peas and mushrooms in it). Lots of good options on the menu and the waiter had a lot of good advice. I’m looking forward to trying their other dishes. Lots of good vegan options and I’d like to try the hand pulled noodles.

My husband and I LOVE Shandong. We did takeout several times before Covid restrictions were lifted, but were really excited when the dining room opened again a few weeks ago. We also took a friend on our recent visit and she had never been before. Parking can be a bit tricky here, especially if the restaurant is busy. DON'T park in the lot next door as that does not belong to Shandong's and your car will get towed! I don't think the word is out yet that they're open for dining inside and since we were there a bit early, we were set. Like many Chinese restaurants, there are SO MANY OPTIONS!! We started off with appetizers; xiao long bao, dumplings and 2 orders of happy hour wontons. We did the pork kind AND the crab. These are some of my favorite wontons ever, mostly because they have meat. Many (especially cheap) places don't fill the wontons. Xiao Long Bao are pretty good and larger than others I've had. For entrees, we had grilled eggplant with chicken, beef and broccoli, pork belly fried rice and chicken and snow peas. Everything was so delicious! The beef and broccoli is my favorite anywhere; flavorful and tender. I feel happy and loved when I eat it. My husband always loves the grilled eggplant and can't ever get enough. The other dishes were also great, my friend especially raving about the crunchy snowpeas and the delicious pork belly. We weren't drinking this time around, but they also offer great cocktails.

Love the variety of vegan options. We had the vegetable trio, spicy dry fried tofu (which wasn't spicy but had great flavor), and the mongolian soy curls. We enjoyed everything. We ordered way too much rice, though - a "large rice" is really very large! The vegetable trio was fresh and had nice crunch and garlic flavor. The tofu was surprisingly delicious and flavorful. The soy curls were also very good, although the flavor was different from mongolian dishes I've had in the past. Maybe just a different style. The tofu and mongolian soy curl dishes didn't include much in the way of veggies, so we were glad we had also ordered the vegetable trio to help balance things out. We ordered takeout toward the end of the night, and they had our food ready fast and were very friendly and kind. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu. Parking was a little tricky.

Very good Chinese restaurant with omnivore and vegan selections. Be sure to try the Judy's noodles with tofu. Absolutely delicious and a great texture on the house-made noodles

I've been to Shandong twice, and thoroughly enjoyed it both times, but from looking at other reviews and their website, I suspect I may have made a bit of a timing error. I've visited for lunch, getting together with one friend each time. So, I've ended up with a single lunch entree from the somewhat smaller midday menu. The plan for my next trip will be to go with a larger group of people so that I can share a much wider variety of things from the dinner menu. That being said, I have found Shandong's soup dumplings to be the equal of those I've had anywhere, and the chicken entrees have made for delightful lunches.

A hopping little place tucked in to the Sandy/Broadway convergence, just west of the Bucks and next door to the Northeast Community Center. Yes, the food is excellent, yes, I would definitely recommend reservations and the pot stickers! I have visited numerous times now and have yet to see an open table for long, bring your patience and your $$, it is worth the wait.
