The highlight of my visit was the Napalm Breath Gluten-Free Pizza, adorned with vegan cheese. I'm quite the pizza addict and coming from Italy, I don't give my pizza reviews lightly.
Starting with the food: we ordered the Vegan Grazing Arizona and even though I prefer red pizzas, I was really impressed with this one! The crust was perfect, the toppings generous but balanced and it wasn't greasy at all - just the right amount of oily! The vegan toppings were all delicious, including the vegan cheese (which is sometimes a hit and miss).
Service: we came with a group of friends and while everyone got some slices, I really wanted to try this one so we ordered it. Initially we were told we had to wait 25 minutes and a few minutes later we were told it's gonna be more like 45 minutes. We were okay with that, since we were in no rush and really keen on trying this pizza. After one hour, we were finally served our pizza and got a full refund (because of the long wait, which we DIDN'T complain about, but were very grateful for the gesture).
Overall, if you need a quick bite, get the slices but if it's not peek-time and you are willing to wait, this pizza pie is worth it!!
I'm definitely saving this place in my books as a MUST TRY!
Got 2 slices and fountain drink for $10. Tried orange cream soda for the first time. Pizza had lots of flavour and huge slices.
Sizzle Pie has delicious pizza by the slice and this particular location makes me want to come back and order a pizza for myself just so that I can hide out in one of their awesome booths for hours.
Seriously comfortable and the pizza hears up nicely.
This would be a great place for a date. It’s lively with a good vibe and those tall black booths look extra comfy and perfect for conversation. They’ve got some great set up on the walls that could make for some interesting conversations pieces.
Additionally, there are lots of tables inside and out.
Staff was friendly and we received everything we ordered within 5 minutes or so. The restaurant is very clean.
A great atmosphere with great pizza. What more could you ask for? (Besides a little more pepperoni).
I really like sizzle pie. There's a counter person on Burnside that kills it. Their pizza is good, I just want another meat option. Like pineapple pepperoni and Jalapeno (hint hint). A great place all in all. I think I've been to three locations so far, all good.
Only 25minutes and peak dinner hour to make a fresh pizza, and it was amazing! Definitely reccomend the Gold Ring!
So I stopped by for a few slices and I was definitely impressed. I’m from Brooklyn New York and I own a pizzeria. This is a solid option for slice.
Dough - was crispy and definitely had a nice flavor. Only problem for me is that it has a bread flavor.
Cheese slice - By far a superior slice here. If a pizza parlor makes a regular cheese pizza right you can trust the rest will be on par.
Pepperoni slice - solid slice but wished it had more salty ness or some more flavor. That’s the truth.
All in all this place was solid and I’ll be back.
The pizza is delicious. Perfect thin crust and not too greasy. The vegan caesar salad dressing is delicious. I got two more slices to go and when they were the wrong flavor the server didn’t hesitate to replace my order asap. I could have done with out the death rock blaring but the baby in the restaurant was loving it 🥰 rocking and bouncing along to it. Or maybe she just loved that pepperoni so much she was bouncing for joy 🤷🏼♀️ 👶 🎶 🍕
Nice pizza. Staff accidentally made a bigger size for us but upgraded us for free so hard to complain other than having more pizza than we could finish in 1 sitting.
The pizza here is the best! They carry Jones came sugar fountain drinks which are delicious!
Sizzle pie has great pizza that changes daily. They also offer Jones soda!!! Cane soda and one sugar free option. As always the pizza is great, the music is awesome,and there's plenty of seating !
Was having a really bad day today so decided I get a pizza while I was in town. I googled pizza near me and this is the one of the places that came up so I figured I’d give it a try. This little pie right here put a smile on my face as soon as I opened the box! And eating it made it even better. This is possibly the best pizza crust I’ve ever eaten and I grew up on the East Coast so I consider myself a pizza connoisseur! Maybe that red heart just won me over, and I am blinded by love, but as Arnold once said, “I will be back.” (pretend you can hear me doing his voice)
Ps the staff was also very, very nice!
Literally my favorite pizza place (I've lived here 30 years). They have a wonderful selection of vegetarian pies as well as meat based ones. Surprisingly for a meat eater I always order vegie pies here because they do such a good job. I order the Queen (Margherita pizza). I find in the Portland area they make one of the most authentic versions as well as one of the tastiest...If that's a word.
I hated ranch on pizza. This place converted me to the dark side.
Sizzle pie makes their own ranch. I am not a ranch guy so putting ranch on pizza just sounded like the perfect way to ruin a good pie. Well, my friend forced me to try the ranch and I was shocked. My life has been changed. Sizzle pie ranch tastes good on their pizza? Enough to go back for more even? Yes!
Try it! This place is expensive for pizza, but it's very high quality. The pizza is delicious and the in house made ranch is fantastic!
Pizza was excellent. We ordered slices and came out very quick. People we came with ordered full ones and took longer.
The shop itself is fine. It had a noticeable amount of flies and was hotter than outside in summer weather.
Edit: wanted to add that I would eat here again too.
Very good vegan pizza with a variety of toppings.
The servers do help their friends before handling any of the to-go orders, so be sure to get there early so you get your pizza before it gets cold.
