Made day-of reservations for a weeknight for a mini personal celebration, and my experience exceeded expectations. I had heard that the patio here at Noble Rot was great, but I was curious about the rest of the restaurant. :) Turns out it was great. The bar/dining room has a warm intimate vibe, and the service was stellar. Attentive but not overbearing. The drinks were tasty (not that strong), and the food was delicious. The pork shoulder was so flavorful and the hangar steak was perfectly prepared. The fruit crisp a la mode was also scrumptious. I would love to come back to try more seasonal dishes!

Beautiful view! Wonderful service. A great place to go for a special occasion. The halibut was absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend it! The lamb my husband got was good but not great. It was cooked perfectly but the croquettes were bland and the vegetables were not at all seasoned. At $40 a dish the veggies should have gotten more attention. Good wine selection and enjoyed the wine flight options. Overall, I'm glad we came here to celebrate my birthday! It was lovely! But if it weren't for the beautiful view I wouldn't necessarily say it's worth the price point.

Amazing place. This was my first time experience with Noble Rot..and I have to say, I shouldn't have waited so long. Went with a larger group for a birthday dinner. The wait staff was more than friendly and prompt. They kept the drinks commin as needed..had great recommendations for food and answered all our questions without hesitation. All the food came out quickly, and at the same time. So you know that the kitchen is hustling! Everything was perfect. I had the special pasta, which was spaghetti with morels, cherry tomato, and a garlicky pesto type sauce. Absolutely amazing! Others had the steak frits...the lamb.. and even a cheese burger. I loved that some of the dished came with micro-greens..and my favorite was the mustard green... so pleasent..and obviously thought out to compliment the plates they were served on. Don't go here if you don't care about eating good food. Be ready to pay a little bit more than expected...bit also be ready to get what you paid for. The cocktails that we were served not only looked amazing..but the few sips I sampled made me rethink just ordering a beer. Spot on! My only complaint.. is they had a very limited beer selection. I think a few more options would pair better with some of the dishes better.. but again...that is a very minor complaint..most of which rides on my personal preferences..not on the restaurant. I will be back for a date night type evening soon. Would like to sample more of the amazing options they had. I highly recommend! Save room for dessert! The caramel brownie al amode was simple perfection done perfectly!

Our server was so delightful. She even offered other places to see, do and eat at. The food was outstanding. We ordered the pasta of the day, the pork loin and the hamburger. We also ordered two desserts. Everything was outstanding!

My husband & I had a dazzling 3rd anniversary dinner date here last night. We were ecstatic to be seated at an outdoor table with a beautiful view of Portland: the weather was fantastic, the flowers, plant life & patio decor was very aesthetic. I'm glad I saved my appetite so I could mow down the spread of food we ordered: from the pork croquettes to the tenderloin, lamb, chocolate brownie dessert & macaroni, we were incredibly pleased with the quality of the dishes, as well as the attentive, friendly & fast service our server provided us with. We loved all of the art inside & outside of the premises. I already am planning my next visit, thanks for making our date night magical!

Great roof top restaurant! More upscale but delicious! They seated us on the patio without reservation! Very nice staff! We order a mojito and Hurricane Christia! Very delicious with house mint and great lemon lime juice! Got the asparagus salad and it was so fresh and divine! The honey ricotta was so mouth watering! Only downside was the price. Felt $17 was expensive for a small salad but everything was delicious so I can't complain to much.

Noble Rot was the perfect choice for our small wedding dinner this summer. We had to downsize because of COVID, but Noble Rot made it feel so incredibly special, like a real reception. They were extremely generous with our time slot and did not make us feel rushed when things weren't going exactly on time, giving us all of the time we needed. They provided excellent service throughout the evening, really above and beyond, even bringing out cozy blankets when a few guests were chilly towards the end of the night. They provided great ventilation so we could have our masks off and feel safe while on the rooftop which was very meaningful to us. Drinks were never empty and they let us take bottles of champagne to go. The food and the beverages were all exquisite, from the hors d'oeuvres to dessert. We got to name and help design our featured cocktails for the night. Everything was designed for our tastes and was so amazing that I didn't really have to ask to change a thing when they asked for my input after presenting our initial menu. They also catered to provide options for our vegan guests, and went out of their way to let us take photos in the rooftop garden which are some of our favorite photos from the day. The views from the roof are stunning. Everything about the space is beautiful. I really can't say enough good things about the quality of the food, drinks, environment and above all people at this restaurant. We have to give our warmest thanks to Allison Smith, who coordinated our event and could not have done a better job. This place represents everything we love about Portland, and though we are currently living out of state, we are making it a goal to go back every year for our anniversary.

Conveniently located near Imago theater, Noble Rot is the place to go for inventive and gorgeous dishes. I started by ordering a Sancerre which smelled incredible and reminded me and my mom of my native France. We then had the endive and blue cheese salad, which was just perfect. I followed that with the pork belly dish with house made kimchi, and I couldn't believe the explosion of flavors and textures. We finished the savory courses with a sweet potato and fava bean dish that was incredible. We were getting late so asked if we had time for dessert before the play at Imago. They made it a point to bring us crème brûlée and brownie quickly with the check. I can't wait to go again with my husband! The brownie photo isn't great because we dug into it and then remembered we had to photograph it 😂

Excellent quality food! Highly recommend the hanger steak. Scallops were delicious as well. Ask your server about the PB & J dessert. Absolutely fantastic!

This place came as a recommendation and it lived up to its hype. We were worried that the portions would be small based off the picture reviews. (They were not) the portions were quite big! The service was so nice. Not intrusive and also didn't forget us. Meal did not take long at all. We got flight of wine, glass of wine, cocktail, bread with butter, braised pork, steak, and a pbj and the price was not bad for this at all. It was raining but they have an indoor outdoor ha. We had a very nice view. If you have time to stop definitely swing by. We came all the way from northern CA. It was my GF birthday and they even put a candle on the PBJ without us asking. :)

If I could award a sixth star in the service category I would, instead I used it to fill out the food category: everything was exceptional except that the halibut was pretty overcooked. Wonderful cocktails and superb wine list. We'll be back.

Cocktails were pretty and the desserts were delicious! The cheese plate could use some extra bites, like almonds, but the cheeses were tasty. I love how they grow they own herbs, and obviously the patio is great if you can get a table.
