Lil' Shalom - Portland - Photo album

I absolutely love Lil’ Shalom, but honestly you can’t go wrong with any of the amazing restaurants from Sesame Collective. I’ve been a few times to LS and love the ambiance and feel in the restaurant, with the open kitchen and wood fire oven in plain view. The burnt beef ends hummus with pastrami an
Came here for a late lunch. I got the hummus topped with burnt ends, which was a perfect combination. Also came with a pita 🫓 for dipping. The smokey flavour/smell off the plate was what hit home this would be the lunch I needed right now. Service was good and friendly. Quiet at 2pm which is expect
Me and a friend stopped in for an afternoon snack and we both really enjoyed the classic hummus and the fries. Split between two people was plenty of food. The outdoor patio was a great spot to eat.
We had a fantastic lunch at Lil Shalom. We ate at the counter and shared the plate and lentils/rice dish. It was delicious and we will definitely eat there again.
This restaurant is a gem. One of the best restaurants I've been to in my life. The no-proof drinks are excellent. The food is excellent. The chicken kebab is marinated to perfection; the mujaddara (rice lentil fried onion) reminded me of Addas Polo (عدس پلو) and is SO good. Must try!
Their food is insanely good but the restaurant itself is very small and probably only seats about 16 people. There are 4 or 5 outdoor tables with heat lamps as well. I absolutely loved the grilled broccolini and the chicken kebab. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy and the broccolini had a reall
Good food, diverse menu. We had the lamb shawarma and chicken schnitzel, both well flavored but I enjoyed the lamb the most. Also got the mejadara lentil and rice plate. They did ask to see vaccination status in order to eat inside which was nice, and surprisingly all too rare around here. There wer
Pitas were made fresh and warm, delicious! It's a must come! Hummus is also fresh and purely delicious! Would definitely come back!
We find this place on a trip to Portland. The restaurant is fairly small, but we were fortunate to have a day where we could sit at their outdoor tables. We tried the Nazareth kebab and an order of the classic hummus. The kebab was fresh and very flavorful. The hummus was smooth and tasty. I
Very less indoor seating, outside is great. The food is very well made with quality ingredients, the falafel is delicious as well. I love the service, fast and efficient. But, We got the shalom y’all plate and it’s not enough for two people (which I was told it is) unless you have a small appetite.
What a treasure for Turkish food here in Portland. Schwarma was absolutely incredible, house made pita bread is served soft and warm. Highly recommend! Waitstaff is very courteous and attentive.
Wow 😮!!! Best meal in Portland. Loved everything we had here. Our party of 6 literally was liking their fingers. Humus was unreal. Pita bread amazing. Shakshuka wonderful. Hold on, I am running out of adjectives. Anyway you have to go
This place was great, just happened to be hungry at the right time and place. One glance at the menu told me what I needed to know. Order at the counter, sit outside, and await the delicious food that’ll soon be heading your way. Looking forward to a follow up visit.
This place has amazing food. The are very creative in their dishes. We had the chicken schnitzel and the hummus with burnt tips today. Both were very delicious. Easy going staff and ample seating outside.
Great Falafel! I've been searching for falafel like this on the west coast - haven't had it since working with Syrians on the east coast. This food is the greatest Mediterranean food on the west coast.
Fennel salad was delicious. Wonderful baked pita fresh from the oven. Falafel was crisp and flavorful. Cauliflower surprisingly tasty. Fun to share family style. The service is leisurely; they are not trying to turn the tables which is nice.
Lil' Shalom is a great place for comfort Mediterranean food. Their Pitas are fresh, the Hummus and Falafel are delicious but the star of the show is their Moroccan Carrot! The place is very conveniently located and walking distance from other popular Downtown Portland spots like Pioneer Square and P
