If you’d like to enjoy a hearty breakfast/brunch at friendly and easy going place, here it is. My all time favorite here is Ed’s Scramble. The soft and tender spinach with meaty and crunchy mushroom are gently wrapped by the moist and fluffy scrambled egg, and the roasted garlic will magically melt in your mouth and brings up your appetite. Maddie cake and eggnog French toast are for those have a sweet tooth. Maddie cake comes with sweet blueberry jam, order single one if you want to save room for other delicious items from the menu. I love the non alcohol mimosa also, I had the peach one and it’s refreshing and goes well with my breakfast. This is a place I’d repeatedly visit when come to Portland. P.S. staff here are super friendly too!

One of the best breakfast places I've been to. We went on a Saturday at 7:50am and there was already a line to get in for the 8am opening. Makes sense though because they were friendly and quick and served fabulous food. We had orange juice, hot chocolate, bacon bennie, tempeh huevos rancheros and pulled pork huevos rancheros. It was all amazing. I'd love to come back and try their other dishes.

I had an amazing brunch experience at Jam on Hawthorne . The mimosas were strong and delicious, adding a delightful twist to the meal. The menu featured a variety of healthy options that satisfied both my taste buds and my desire for nutritious choices. The ambiance created an awesome vibe, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely weekend brunch. Highly recommend! 🍹🍳🌿👌

Outstanding. I wish I could give Jam 6 stars. Artsy, earthy, bohemian vibe that feels magical and laid back at the same time. I came here with my best friend for the first time last week and we were delighted. The menu, the vibe, everything was so perfect. Like something out of a nostalgic movie. I love how fresh and delicious the food is. I had their blackberry jasmine tea which is my favorite tea flavor ever. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, too. We felt right at home. I ordered the downtown scramble with hashbrowns and he ordered the peach cobbler pancakes special. But we definitely ended up sharing. I was highly impressed by the veggie sausage, too. Best vegetarian meat I've ever eaten, as someone who does eat meat. Definitely will be back when in Portland again.

My goodness, is this place popular. If you're wanting to eat here, I strongly suggest either showing up half an hour earlier than the time they open, or before you're wanting to eat. Or, you can call ahead to order for pick up. We had an Uber driver recommended this place while we were in town for a short period of time and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did. He also recommended showing up earlier as well because the line is out the door, and he wasn't joking. Parking was super limited as well, but it was worth that hassle and worth the wait. Our food was absolutely delicious and large portions as well. I don't think I would bother trying to have breakfast anywhere else when visiting Portland.

Vegan 2 egg breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately the vegan blueberry Chai pancakes tasted like gingerbread. This should be described somewhere. We ate about half of those and took the extra to go but didn't eat it later. The photos are of the food after we started eating. Latte was super good!

Whenever I have the opportunity to expose a friend to this place I take it! The atmosphere is great. There’s outdoor seating during the warmer months. The choices of nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks for a brunch place are literally unmatched. The food is phenomenal and I will come back to this place time and time again.

Very tasty, satisfying brunch. Definitely get the rosemary bloody Mary with sweet bacon, that was amazing. We split the French toast and the pulled pork huevos rancheros. They were satisfying and tasty.

The food was good and Stuffs are friendly. It's popular restaurant so pretty loud. But overall really good.

The hype is real. The Smoked Steelhead Hash is good enough to kill a man for, but Jam will graciously give it to you for less than $20. Their coffee is on par with some specialty shops, they have espresso and drip varieties. The wait wasn't too long, but I'm sure they get busy on weekends. The service is great and I don't have any complaints. Would highly recommend!
