A good foodie spot. Gourmet food sourced locally, a good mix of different entrees. The peach and heirloom tomato salad was delightful. It is an upscale place without being pretentious. The wait staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive.

The service was excellent. We came in straight from hiking and they sat us at the bar. They didn't treat us badly for coming in all nasty. We keep coming again to paleys and it continues to be one of the best high end restaurants in Portland. The service is great and respectful, the good is amazing and always impresses being well seasoned and not overpowering. The little amuse bouch from the chef are always a great surprise
