Excellent food and service. I just wish we could eat inside the restaurant again. But I'm very thankful they are still in business after so many shut down while covid was going on. You can phone in an order or walk in and order. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes.

Mr Wok is a pretty good restaurant for Asian food, here in Portland it’s probably the best you’ll get. I ordered the general tso’s chicken and I was surprised with the size of the dish. It was only about $10 and it was enough for 2 meals. Good if you want something on the go, but if you’re willing to drive, I would suggest going to the next town over to find something even better.

So, This is a tricky one. Mr. Wok in 'Portland' has been there for years. When I worked at unipres in Portland TN, I went there almost every day and they started remembering me. And they didn't have to ask anymore what I wanted the service there was amazing. Now, that was in 2015-2017. There food is still really good. If you go 15 min south to exit 108 White House Tn. There is another Mr. Wok. They are nothing like the one in Portland. I'm am disappointed every time I go to that one. The food is prepard differently. I don't know what they do but it looks like it should be on a billboard and taste like it come out of a dishwasher. You like that. Everyone has there own taste. They don't give you the same amount as the one in Portland and they are closed on Tuesdays. Who does that? You have no idea how many times I drove to White House Mr. Wok. And they were closed. Honestly, I was probably better off for it anyway. Now, China Spring by Walmart is where you want to go. If your in White House. But, As far as Mr. Wok in Portland I have no complaints. If your in the mood for Chinese food. Mr. Wok Portland TN. Is where I go. Thanks 😊

This was my first time at Mr. Wok and I tend to return to my reviews when I've had further experiences. But so far, it was a very good experience. We had a takeout for five people and we all really enjoyed the food. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Just got food there for the first time last night. Lovely family working there, and the young lady who took our order was precious! We tried several items and everything was delicious. The restaurant is tiny but very clean. We'll definitely be going back!

Staff are straight forward, not to chatty. Food was delicious. Menu is pretty big with lots of variety. Not many veggie options, most everything comes with meat. Kung Pao chicken meal is amazing. Will be back for sure.

Delicious food definitely serves the best Chinese food I had ever had! The staff that works there was super friendly to us. The food portion was big and is totally worth it for the price. There is no downs about this place and it is totally recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are wanting good Chinese food then this is your place, not only is the food excellent but the staff is top notch, my wife who is allergic to onions, the nice lady who takes the orders knows this by recognizing me when I walk through the door always makes sure the food I order for my wife has no onions in it. It's a comfort to know there are still establishments out there like this one that takes care of their customers. Beyond 5 stars!

Mr. Wok in Portland is the only Chinese restaurant I will eat at, they are so sweet and every time that I order take-out they know exactly who I am and how I want my food. They make you feel at home when you visit.The food is always fresh and always great,their service and their food go perfect hand-in-hand. I wish they would take over the buffet.

I used to work in Portland and would regularly come to Mr. Wok. Their food is delicious and they have great portion sizes. The staff are also very nice and since I came regularly they started to recognize me. When I got pregnant I had major cravings for Chinese food and specifically wanted Mr. Wok. I actually had my husband drive out to Portland from Hendersonville just to bring me back some Mr. Wok. After we moved to White House (and so much closer to Mr. Wok!!) we treated my parents to Mr. Wok and we all loved what we ordered! Dishes we often order are: Singapore Mei Fun, Yang’s Spicy Chicken, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, General Tso’s Chicken. I’ve also ordered their tofu dishes and steamed dishes when I was on a diet. They have a lot of veggies in their dishes so I feel a little healthier eating here!
