Overall a good place, but I've noticed that COVID stuff has hit dairy queen's the largest. Most dairy queen's have their seating areas largely, and this one is no exception. The food was delicious but they forgot part of my order, thankfully they were vary nice and returned it back. Overall this is good food, but I'd recommend getting it from a food delivery service

Friendly staff and their soft serve vanilla and chocolate cones (dip or no dip) always taste fresh and creamy.
Four stars as they need a better way to traffic their drive through -possibly move window to East Side of building so traffic line up down 60th rather than blocking traffic on Duke.

We stopped here for a couple Blizzards. We were 3rd Inn line in the drive-thru. The line moved steadily and within 7 minutes we were at the pickup window. We ha ordered 1 standard Blizzard and one special order Blizzard. We added cherry to a mud pie Blizzard. It took a couple of minutes longer for them to get it ready and when we tasted it we could barely taste the cherry BUT at least they tried.
The parking lot was picked up and clean.
The staff was friendly and efficient.
We feel like we can recommend this place.

This place is drive-through only, and they cook the food to order, which takes a bit longer, but I love always getting hot food.
On hot days, there is often a line down the street, but it is worth it.

Because they are a small location and are only serving dri e through, the lines were incredibly long leaking onto the street. We waited 30 minutes to get an order in. The only saving grace was the young man with a majestic curly mullet at the window who was genuinely apologetic of the wait (and the lack of public restroom access.) Food was fresh and the treats were on point... minus a straw for the drink (darn request rules...)

I go here at least two times a month. It's a busy Dairy Queen with a small team that's only doing drive-thru in a pandemic - you gotta take all that into account. The drive-thru speaker is only about two car lengths from the window so that definitely increases wait times if people are placing big food orders but, generally, the wait isn't horrible. Yes, sometimes the line backs into the street, the property isn't meant for long lines of cars. My orders have always been correct and prepared ok (I mean, it's fast food). I've never experienced rudeness from the staff - though, like I've said, they're often really busy but if you're nice then they're nice. Knocked off a star because they are often out of certain food items, whoever does their ordering could be doing a better job.

The people that work here are borderline retarded! You can tell them something straight to their face, have them repeat it back to you and they will still forget about it or get it wrong.... I asked the girl for a large caramel banana shake with extra whipped cream. She said OK so you want a caramel shake with extra whipped cream. I said caramel banana with extra w.cream. she again said OK so a caramel banana shake with extra whipped cream, I said yes, she gave me my change and said I'll make that right now... the shake was very poorly mixed and there was NO whipped cream... time before that they forgot my shake completely. It's always something here. And they take forever all the time. It's also impossible to order a GREEN TEA from the drive thru. I say green tea, they say sweet tea, every time. And when you finally get them to understand your saying green tea instead of sweet tea they still give you regular sweet tea. EVERY FUCKING TIME!

My husband and I love going to DQ for a Blizzard, but the last couple of times we have gone... When you get to the halfway point.... It's just vanilla ice cream!!!!! This really pisses me off! I've worked at a Dairy Queen before.... If you can't make it right, don't work there!!!

Drive through, really? 25 min for a hot dog and and 2 chicken baskets? And you burnt the hotdog, folded in half to fit into a random container and with all that effort tasted terrible! Nice, you should stick to just ice cream but judging by the comments already have read that seems probable of it getting screwed up as well. No thanks.

We visit this DQ when visiting our grands! Love the food, atmosphere, service and most all...the train with it's track, close to the ceiling, that runs continually around the room!

Today I went for ice cream, after WAITING 45 minutes in line and to Receive my ice cream then to get home and realize I can't even scoop my ice cream!!! All the chocolate (peanut buster parfait) was hardened on the outside of the cup!!! Then no peanuts? Really? My strawberry sundae looked like my 1 year old made it, and then my OREO BLIZZARD, should have Oreos mine was vanilla ice cream?! I really don't know what's going on with Portland DQ BUT YOU ALL NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER! very disappointing, please make this the last option to eat! This isn't the first mistake either!

Seriously? Why WOULDN'T the driver of a motor vehicle want lids for her blizzards? I don't understand why window attendants think that's so bizarre, nor why they then choose a flat drink lid & smoosh out all the contents but won't offer a napkin. I know it's not cost-effective to hire smarter people, but isn't this a basic life-skill?!
