As a past Chair for the Porterville Chamber of Commerce, I would like to say that I am thrilled that a small business on Main Street has expanded into a larger restaurant in downtown Porterville (thus vitalizing the downtown area). I have tried lunches many times at the smaller location and have never been disappointed. As with all business when you expand, you experience “growing pains”. You loose help and you have to train new staff, and also teach the existing staff in all the new technology. This takes time and patience for not only for the business owner and staff, but also the patrons ( so if you have limited time for your lunch, I would recommend calling in your order ahead of time ). When the new site opened, they were a little slow, but after a few weeks, that time has been shortened. My husband and I decided to try dinner there this evening. Since they have steaks, I tried the New York (10 oz) and my husband the Ribeye (14 oz). They were cooked to perfection (Medium Rare), served with a crisp green salad and garlic mashed red potatoes. Seasoning on them was “spot on”. After dinner, the waitress came over to the table (several times during our meal), to see how it was and if we wanted anything else. I jokingly said that I would take a piece of cheesecake for dessert. She acknowledged my request at which point I told her I was kidding as I did not know that they had dessert. They do in fact have raspberry cheesecake and a brownie dessert......so we tried the cheesecake. Very good!
For those that I have heard mention that food was good, but took a long time to get food, be aware that perfection takes time. From the time we ordered till our food arrived was about 25 minutes. We arrived on Friday night at 5:45 pm and the place was very packed with patrons. When we left, there were people waiting for tables to empty, but at no time were these people ignored. Staff and owner were talking with patrons and bringing tables in from outside to quickly seat people.

By far the best burger and salad resturant in Porterville. My family and I literally dine here once a week. We love the fresh ingredients used. The friendly customer service. We love everything about The Vault. Good food, great services, great prices, The Vault is the best place to eat in Porterville.

I love meeting my husband for a quick bite for lunch. The Vault has become our favorite spot! The food is over the top, I like getting The BlueCheese Burger with a side salad. Jamie is amazing and you can tell that she truly loves cooking! Plus, fun spunky servers, Nancy, Bianca, and Mikayla, will serve you with ease, keeping your drink full and serving the food while HOT! On top of all this, my husband loves the craft beers, soups, and desserts... oh my! I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is! You definitely need to stop in and try it, I guarantee you'll love it!

Two thumbs up. The food was made fresh and was really good. Also the service was great. I recommend you go have lunch or dinner at The Vault.
My husband and I have been waiting for the new location to open so we could take our son - he’s never been. We love the food. Sam and the ladies there are pretty awesome. Nancy helped us out tonight and although the place was at maximum capacity, the service was outstanding, the staff was happy and helpful and the food was great.
I had the pastrami burger and my mom had the bacon burger, both were very good. Love the shoestring fries . Great service and very friendly crew. Will definitely go back.
Fantastic Burgers and fries. The service was also fantastic. I highly recommend this place.They also have the best peanut butter cupcakes ever!
Great A1 Burger. Would definitely recommend. Next time I will stop by and try a glass of Wine or Beer with my meal. Thanks for a great lunch!!
Heard about the rootbeer flavored beer and went yesterday to try it out man its bomb af and the vault fries and vault burger were off the chain hands down bwst place for a beer and a burger

So happy with our experience here. I had the pastrami burger, my wife, the tri tip salad. Both were excellent. There's a great selection of local beers, the service was great, the staff attentive to our needs, right down to offering to give my wife a to go cup for the remainder of her tea. I'm looking forward to returning & sampling other menu items.
Love it! Everyone who works there has great personalities, great selection of beer, and they’re always changing the selection! Sam should consider serving flights!!
Everything is good my only complaint for the new location is it’s freezing in there like I used to be when Dickies was there other than that the food & service are one of the best in town.
I’m normally not one to leave or write a review but I was blown away with how scrumptious my burger was! I will be back to try some of the others. Wishing The Vault much success!
I always talk about this spot! My favorite place for lunch by far. Best beers on tap with a wide variety. The burgers here are.unmatched with anything else in town as well!

The Vault has a great all around menu, but I absolutely love coming in and trying their different daily specials. My friends and I love the Cowboy/Cowgirl, as well as the traditional Vault burger! I am thrilled to hear of their expansion!

Had the fried Dill pickle bacon cheddar burger was the bomb plus the homemade chicken and dumplings my first time there and definitely will be back
My fiancé and I drive from Tulare just to eat here. We absolutely love it! Amazing food at a good price!
The new place is bigger and exciting. I hope they would do more when Thursday Night Football or Monday Night Football returns... as always, the menus are good and juicy...

Great food! Great beer selection! A/C on high! I had the cobb salad and all the lettuce/ingredients were superb. My SO had a burger and fries, both very tasty. Highly recommend you stop at this great food and beer establishment on your way through Porterville!
This picture does NO justice. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! There’s a spice in the sauce that’s incredible, and I’ve never tasted anything like it. Perfect seasoning on the fries too. The onion strings are a must! $5 for a bucketful! Perfectly breaded and caramel ones, and great ranch. Best restaurant I tried in porterville.
Consistently amazing food and always a killer beer selection. The staff and owner are so friendly and the atmosphere is always super chill and relaxed. A great place to post up and eat and drink all day or to swing by for a quick bite.
Food and service is good, the vault sauce is great. You can ask for vault sauce on your fries and adds a bit more flavor to the meal.
