Their portions are really big and delicious however there enchiladas in al sauce on the sweet side. The ground beef tacos are absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff is really friendly and courteous in constantly checks to see if you need anything else!😃

After a long drive from Southern California. I was more than ready to Pay top dollar for some bomb food. Unfortunately we never ate. Myself and my family waited for 1 whole hour watching other people get seated with their drinks. We asked for our menus and that's all we got. 🤣 Never again

One of our favorite place to go to for Mexican food. I get so many different items here bit har the flan today and Chili verde w rice and beans. Flan was okay.

Visited El Tapatio restaurant for the 1st time recently
Wow what a wonderful surprise. Everything was great, the service was really fast and friendly. The food was delicious there rice and beans were the best I've ever!!!! Portions were generous and the food was so hot and fresh we had to wait a bit before we could eat. We will definitely come back.

Went for lunch to this cool place. It was pretty busy, but not so much that we weren't seated and being attended to during the first three minutes we were there. One fish taco y dos de tripa are what was devoured. For the price, they were significantly large tacos. There was plenty of meat served on the tripa tacos and the fish taco was a real filet!!! It was crunchy and drizzled with some type of ranch based dressing! I am 6'3" and weigh approximately 300 pounds and I got full. I paid under $15. Great price and portions compared to other experiences I've had.

Food was very good. Been there twice. First time had the pollo in mole. It was delicious and the portions are big. Second time husband and I got the menudo. Both times we visited we had a table show up after us and both received drink and food before we got our drinks. First time it was a party of 3. Second time party of 16. Both servers we nice so I want to say it must have been they were busy 🤷 However the second time food came out at different times which I can understand with such a big party but my husbands and neice menudo came out once the rest of the table was almost done eating; and my husband bowl was smaller than mine but got charged the same price. Only writing review in hopes the owners will read. Might go back if I visit porterville with a small party.

The food has become expensive and ill-prepared and entrees are meager now. Way too much rice and service has gotten bad. Today, (05/26/2022) the waitress refilled my spouse’s coffee mug and totally ignored mine and the empty cup was under her nose and easy to see. For a restaurant that just rearranges beans, rice and meat, the price is too high. Never coming back.
